You will find the answers to this in this thread. Just take your time and gather the information by yourself. Don’t expect others to do the “work” for you. Buying a proper rep needs some research and time. It’s not amazon business! If everybody would have this attitude this great forum would not work...

Got the watch last night. Looks great, might be a little too big on my wrist (I got some skinny wrists lol). Thank god I ordered the small band. The hand markers at first looked the same color, but today, after spending some time in the sun, they definitely got more greener than the other markers. Seems like that will be an issue. This watch is a beast though, build incredibly well and there's no other flaws I can spot. I'll post pics once I'm out of work.

US! Was in customs for a good 4-5 days which scared me but it passed through.

Germany here! Mine says it has arrived in destination country since Monday and nothing since then. I am already getting scared now as well! ;)

First time poster in an AP forum! I am placing an order next week on a V9 SS bracelet. If anyone has a newer batch and would like to comment on the lime please let me know. Also what are the waiting times for these by dealers? I'm used to waiting 2-3 months for reps on the Rolex forums, so buying an AP for the first time thought I'd ask humbly. Looking at the JF V9 2824-2.

There’s some visual flaws with the AP diver rep no matter which version, V1-V9. The dive bezel lume and shape of the 0s are different between gen and rep and this can be spotted from a distance away. The gen has distinct white borders around the numbers and the lume raised within the borders. The rep lume is printed on the bezel direct. The shape of the 0s are also distinctly different on the gen and rep and can be spotted easily.
The rep is close enough I agree but there are a few tells, more obvious in some versions and less in others. I’ve seen both the gens and reps many times and the dive bezel numbers on the gen and rep are very different. It may not be obvious in pictures but in person the rep can never be mistaken to be gen if you know what to look for.

Thank you for this. This is great advice for someone looking to purchase their first diver. At least I know what to expect. Very realistic advice.

How do I post photos here? I just received qc photos of 15400v3 and 15703v9 by JF from TD and they just look perfect to my eyes. The diver must be from a new batch because the hands dont look green!

V9 hands don’t look green unless the lume is remotely “charged”. I took pictures of my v9 straight out of a box and the hands look same colour as dial. It’s only after to move near a window etc that the hands start to glow greener. Let’s hope it’s a new batch tho.
