AP Diver JF V9 is out.

I am looking to buy a my first AP Diver rep today. I asked for a photo from Toros of what the version 9 should look like and he sent me this. What do you guys think? Has the green hands issue been fixed and are there any other issues? Or should I try and get a version 7 instead?

If its all good then I might get the version 9 instead of version 7. Its just that I've heard all this about green hands and other issues that I'm apprehensive about getting one.

Also I am based in Australia, so I'm not completely sure how the whole relume thing works? Do I need to ship it to someone to get it done or can the TD organise it?

You need to ship it to someone that can relume it the TD‘s can’t as far as I know

Just for comparison my new QC. Much better alignment now. Hands still green though.

Nice match on the re-lume, I'm thinking of one of these but the green tint on the hands is putting me off, would you mind sharing who did the re-lume for you and the cost?

Is it my watch only or is the font of the back totally off? Way too bold in comparison with the gen imho.

look at the vid (no TD here) - it is much more rounded than pervious case backs and so is the polishing. Looks like the lighting is the cause for your font on the back looking too bold

in the end - if someone will notice this he is too close to you and has by far too much knowledge about reps hehe

The color of the hands is slightly greenish. Compare the hands to the hour markers. Compare the gen to the QC pics here and you will see. Compare the V7 to this latest model V9. If you study and are patient you are more likely to get the best rep you can get.

When the lume is “charged” the hands glow greener than the hour markers.

If stand near a window for a few seconds and then look at your watch, the hands will look mismatched to the dial.

If the watch is pictured with little or lume charge on the lume, the hands will look less green
