No puretime did already wrote only rotor was updated NOTHING more.

That's why i'am waiting for QC pics because the printing is not worth 500 usd.

I have the ARF Submariner and the printing is one of the best I've ever seen so iam not seeing a point to pay more money for a shitty dial.

And puretime say after the whole batch is sold MAYBE they update the printing. The problem is the 15400 V4 has the same shitty printing like 3 years ago it's really a shame.

Thats what I am talking about. JF 15202 need to improve if they only change rotor font. 1.5mm thickness is obvious tell. Nobody see caseback but can see thickness on your wrist. I know fit and finish is not on par with JF. But this is only 139. Just give you advice only.

If you want to hand your watch to a random watch guy the thickness will be your last problem.

Regarding the 139$ quartz grenade - it looks like garbage if you know the real thing or even a decent 15400 JF. Just because something is cheap it doesnt make it any better or closer to the gen.

I will say it again - everybody wanted a decent 15202 rep with a JF quality case or bracelet and now people scream ‚obvious tell‘ for 1,5mm that sink into your wrist just like the extra 1.5mm on the 15400 or the opened caseback in total which i would be worried about more if you want to fool people.

In the end 9.5mm will be thinner than most watches in the rep world so we better relax a bit.

The problem is that the printing of the quartz is better than the most JF 15400 versions i've seen and that's says it all about the "printing" quality of JF, the first 10 watches are fine and then they ran out of print every batch it's like the same issues and that since V2. V1 had better printing but shitty tapseries. It's really the only downside on the JF versions because the rest looks great but the printing looks like pure garbage. I mean the best finishing of the world brings nothing if the printing of the dial looks like a 2€ paintjob

In the end we have to be more rational mate.

Look at the facts - we have only seen some prototype pictures of maybe 2 watches of this batch (as intime and puretime and so on had the same flaws (crooked and bend AP logo))

We didn't see any of this watches in real life. And then there was the high res picture on PT website where the printing looks decent.

This thread is full of assumptions but lack of facts. The only fact i see is that the 139 got a decent printing but anything else is just junk - period. Begin with the screws, go over to the case shape or bezel shape, then the tapisserie, the glas and then the over all finish (don't forget the closed case back) - even if it is priced less than a JF - you get far more inaccuracy that couldn't be compensated just by the price while wearing it as this is the only thing that matters - the appearance of the watch. Not the fact that i feel guilty of overpaying my JF because the printing is not as good as it is used to.

I get your point - i did it even before many times we talked about this issue - but we cant ignore some major things in this manner.

I don't know the "picture" from puretime is with a lot of white background so the camera pretty much fucks it up it looks nothing like real life. The only real flaw i see is the printing and the thickness i would love it if they put just a quartz hin (who cares about open or closed caseback? If you give the watch to someone who knows AP he will see that its fake anyway).

But lets wait for QC pictures i would love to add it near my 15400 V2

And i must disagree with the thickness statement. I put my V2 on with 10.01 mm (which is really close to gen) and you see the height difference against Gen it depends on your Arm maybe but mine is relatively flat so its not "sunken" in it sits on top and then you will see it but iam ok with it, if they would just improve the printing

Agreed about quartz. No seconds had plus it's a dressy watch that wouldn't be worn everyday, so we wouldn't need to continually set the time. They won't unfortunately, as the most the could sell a quartz for (outside of our forum) would be around $190.

I wonder how possible it is to thin it and stick a quartz in there?

I don't know exactly what to think of this rotor - even if the typo is fixed and we won't ever (want to) fool anybody with the opened case back - the old supplier delivered a better color and finish in terms of quality judging from pictures under artificial lighting from different perspectives...

the movement? Yes - every decorated only movement does.

The watch itself? Well it is closer to the gen than the first rep 15400 V1 and of course the best 15202 you can buy quality wise over all before you go gen
