^ i dont think that you will notice this on a moving wrist...
but in the end the purpose for QC pictures got a bit bend over the years so many people reject watches for minor flaws rather than just checking if it is the correct watch model and if there are no bigger issues.
if you are not satisfied (i can see where your uncomfort comes from regarding your watch) just reject it and keep in mind that the new relrdered watch will have another issue. More or less bugging
just my 2cents
Is it me or this still has slightly green hands as most v9s ?
Isn’t the one on the right side a gen?
Darude is right that the endlinks are tells for reps. I looked at the endlinks and instantly found the one to the right to be a gen.
Good spot. I think this can be fixed though with some wet-n-dry sandpaper to refinish the end links with more of a curve.
I only noticed the green ish lume and the variation in dial "wetness".
I paid a local modder $30 to fix this and I was not satisfied with the result. The cross section he made was uneven and he shaved off too much.
Just bought 2 #320, 2 #80, and a #280 sandpapers respectively. They are very cheap. I have a polishing cloth at home. Do I need something else? I will try to do this mod again myself.
I'd use one of those hobby sanding sticks just to hold the sand paper. They can be picked up at places that sell model airplanes trains etc. You can probably use something else but these make it easier to hold and get a nice uniform finish on tiny objects.
I'm a noob want to buy ROO Diver, but after reading post from you guys I have a little consider about V9. So you guys can explain what's "green hands"? Having pictures to explain, I would appreciate it. Thank you. (Sorry for bad english cuz English not the main language in my country)
Can someone who ordered JF v9 recently confirm if hands are still green, or if the issue was finally fixed?
I have my diver and there are absolutely no issues with it. The only small issue if you know what you're looking at is the the texture of the raised cubes isn't as soft as the gen, but that's it. my hands are absolutely NOT green. Pics forthcoming. The weight of the watch is amazing btw
Hello everybody, I'm new here so please don't destroy me right away!
I recently bought a ROO diver JF V9, Swiss movement, from a RWI TD.
I noticed that the font on the DW is different from the other pics I have seen in this topic. The font on my DW has serifs (pic is not close enough maybe, apologies), while all the pics I have seen here have sans-serif font.
I am thinking something is off with my watch... any chance it is not a JF v9?

Your watch is perfectly fine - it will also have an H-serial number so the serif font is correct for this particular series. The older pre 2014 models got the old font, then there was a font change before they changed the whole model to an open case back with hobnail patern (15710ST)
