I don't think so. I'm pretty sure he was a scammer, or at best someone who wasn't being completely honest and got in over his head. A good deal of people never got their packages or money, and I think he ceased all his communications at some point.
He had a flurry of advertising and presumably taking money from customers on his Jamesleebags.com site in the month before the domain expired.
The guy lives in Stockholm and at no point in the JamesLee debacle did he make any attempt to come clean.
If you look back at the history of posting, his posts were constant lies, each time he replied to an individual with "everyone has their bags or their money now" he was proved a lier by a multitude of posts saying "I haven't got mine" He had alter egos on RWG and here that were the principle source of praise for his bags and reliability. The guy was his own schill.
