I've been trying to contact TC with no response.

>>> Feb 2015 - Make payment for TC V6 Submariner after talking with TC through several emails, always with a quick response

>>> Mid April 2015 - TC V6 Submariner delivered, all is perfect except a low spot in the bezel insert and random intermittent resistance on the bezel action as you turn it

>>> Early May 2015 - 2 weeks after receiving the watch the bezel issue goes from intermittent to persistent, I talk with TC via email and ship it back to him as he says it should be an easy fix and he wants to make it right, he verifies delivery and on our last correspondence on May 19th he says he'll have it back to me in a few weeks tops (end of May, early June at latest)

>>> Early June 2015 - No word from TC so I email him asking for an update, no response

>>> Mid June 2015 - I email TC again politely asking for an update, no response

>>> Early July 2015 - I email TC yet again, this time more sternly expressing the fact that this simple bezel issue has now taken longer to fix than the watch took to build, I still don't have my watch, and I haven't received any correspondence from him since May 19

Due to his reputation I'd like to give TC the benefit of the doubt, but this is starting to feel an awful lot like I'm getting scammed by a so-called trusted member.

Any advice on how to proceed? Does anyone have any information on what's going on with TC or has anyone been in contact with him since May 19? Has anyone else had any issues with him like this? The whole reason I went with TC was to avoid a situation like this from an overseas replica dealer but this is turning into a buyer beware scenario worse than any I've dealt with.

Thanks for any help guys.

Hes not scamming you dont worry - why would he risk wrecking his reputation over one watch?

JS83, TC is not a scam artist. He is one of the most reliable guys I know. I did have an email and he sent me two 16610 bracelets last week. The thing is he is very busy and you have to understand that this isn't his career. He just wants to make the perfect Sub clone and sells them. Just trust people when they tell you that he will get back to you. I know it sucks. I had waited almost two months for a case and parts and I had peoples watches waiting for the parts. When you get it back you will be happy. Oh and it is a common issue, the bezel. I'm sure it was just a gasket size.

Im wondering the same thing. Multiple emails over nearly two months, at best without a response and at worse ignored, when he already has my money and my watch. How would you feel in my shoes?

Research TC here. He has his own link here. Tons of people complain, mostly new people. Not trying to poke fun at you. Trust me we are all new once. The real facts are that he has a life. He travels a lot at work. Just look at his page and he saids when he is in China or England and so on. The guy is very trust worthy. I ordered two bracelets from him around two months ago. About a month later, I got a shipping email from USPS. Then about 3 weeks to a month later I got them. You will be very happy with the watch when you get it. TC's 16610 are Unbelievable. He stands behind his watches and his name.

Looking at my emails he responded to on July 2. I was chatting with him about a project that caught my interest.

While I have a low post don't here, I'm hardly new to watches (15 years in the hobby, multiple gens). I happen to search and research when I have questions rather than post blindly to inflate my post count. I searched for months before joining this forum and contacting TC initially for a V6 Sub.

It seems based on the last two replies that TC is more than willing to reply to multiple different people multiple times when it comes to getting new business, but hasn't responded to multiple emails from me regarding this issue. Objectively remove preconceived opinions towards TC and his reputation from the equation and look at the situation. I think most anyone would agree that this is a problem.

Had he responded to any of my multiple emails since May 19 then this post wouldn't have been made. As it stands, he specifically told me late May or early June to have the watch fixed and returned to me, he has missed the latest quote timeframe by a month AND he hasn't responded to multiple emails regarding an update. In addition to that, this thread has confirmed that he's been in contact with multiple other people in the same timeframe. I'm not saying TC is a scammer, but that is Scammer Behavior 101. To say otherwise is simply blind bias.

Again like I said on my post, not trying to poke fun at you. But to say words like, "I feel a lot like I'm getting scammed by a so-called trusted member." Does sound to me like you are calling a very trusted member like a scammer.

The questions you asked:
1)Any advice on how to proceed? Answered.
2)Any information on TC or has anyone been in contact with him since May 19th? Answered
3)Has anyone else had any issues with him like this? Answered

Then another poke at TC.
"The whole reason I went with TC was to avoid a situation like this from an overseas replica dealer but this is turning into a buyer beware scenario worse than any I've dealt with."

I have been dealing with him for a while as has many people in this forum. He takes a long time. Busy job, busy life. Does this on the side. You will get your watch and you will be very happy with it. I have owned three TC subs and loved them all. The 16610LV I put a Yuki/Rolex Hybrid 3135 with tons of gen stuff making it unbelievable. TC case and bracelet, bezel assembly, dial were all so good that it was kept. Point is he makes unbelievable watches. Doesn't make much doing it and does it for the hobby and the us the people who want the perfect clone. By far his 16610 is the best. And I too have multi gens and Clones and have been collecting watches for god knows how long. You will get your watch. When you do, you will forget this ever happen and go back to him for another. Wait for his Yacht master. It is going to be a killer.

JSG83. From your last post it shows your trying to blast TC. I would like you to do this. Find on this forum, or RepGeek's or Rwg, one (1) person who has been screwed over by TC. I can tell by your ton in your last reply that you are the type of person who emails are very confrontational and I would bet that, that is the reason TC is not answering your emails. You will get your watch and you will be happy with it, of course if you allow yourself to be.

That's being awfully presumptuous. And it's incorrect.

There is no tone. I am presenting facts. Need I screen cap the emails to prove my point? I've been nothing but gracious and respectful with TC and towards the fact that his work has him away often. Had he not told me the watch would be returned a month ago, or if he has simply responded to my repeated attempts to contact him for an update, then this post would never have been made. Instead I'm currently out of a watch and $600, and I'm in the dark as to why.

When I'm put into a situation where all signs point towards me being wronged then I'm sorry but I will not bite my tongue regardless of a seller's reputation. I've bought and sold enough online over the last 15 years to have seen the nicest guys with the most stellar reputations do people wrong. So you'll have to excuse me if I'm having doubts about a guy I've never personally met that has my money, my watch, and won't respond to simple, "Hey TC, just wondering if there was any update on my watch? Thanks for any info. Take care." emails a month after he said he'd return the repaired watch to me.

I'm not a noob. I'm not a young kid. I'm in my 30s with a career and a family, trying to purchase a watch to use as an extended trial piece to decide whether I want to purchase a genuine 16610 Rolex or not. He's clearly been responding to other people. It's not odd to any other members that he hasn't responded to me?

That's fair enough. I can respect TC's reputation. Otherwise I never would have sent him payment in the first place. That doesn't make me feel any differently about this situation though. For the record, I do not believe TC to be a scammer nor do I believe he has any reason to want to hang on to a worn watch with a bezel issue. The way this situation is being handle however (missed return date by over a month, will not respond to emails but will respond to other members) is suspicious at best if not alarming. I don't see how that's disputable.

If the answer is "Trust TC's reputation and don't worry about the ignored emails. You'll get your watch back eventually." then so be it. I'd be remiss to sit around waiting without pursuing that answer though while my repeated attempts to contact TC for an update go without a response.

I am not trying to get into a debate here. You asked questions about him and I responded. You have to understand and do research. TC has always taken months. Look it up. From my first buy with him to the last one I had. I looked him up and I know what I am dealing with. So I just answered your questions. He isn't going to screw you. It isn't in his nature. I'm not saying that he make no money off of anyone but he really doesn't make much. Most of the stuff he does is for the hobby and to help us here. Again you will get your watch. Believe it. You will love it. I have owned a Gen 16610. The TC feels the most Gen like. Even to the hollow band links. I own a BP Sea-dweller that with TC parts makes it unbelievable. It took months to get those parts. I had to wait until he got them, Dial, hands, date wheel, crown and tube, and then send it to the watchmaker to build it. Point is that, that watch didn't take me a month to get to where I wanted it. It took over two months. Anything I buy from TC I order way in advance. Or I order multiple of. I have two bracelets, I 5 crown and tubes, I have probably 6 date wheels between all the versions, Crystals I even have the TC 2824 holders to put movements in. Why, he take a long time. They are the best parts.

Just to lighten things up. Look at the TC 16610LV that I've owned for a while. It has Gen bezel insert, gen hands, gen date wheel, TC dial, TC case, TC bracelet, Yuki 3135 with Gen rolex parts to make it run like a rolex, Gen crown and tube Gen Crystal. Gen rotor.

When you get yours you will love it.

That's a beautiful piece for sure. As was my TC V6 Sub before the bezel issue became persistent and I had to return it for repair. No doubt TC does great work. That's not in question at all.

I think rather than a scamming incident, its more like a service failure incident.

But that is just it. The questions have been answered. I know if the shoe was on the other foot, which at one point it was. When I first started emailing him I had so many questions that he actually emailed me and told me to wait until the end of the day and send him an email because I was emailing him to many times. Then he found out that I was a retired detective and refunded me my whole first order of parts. He wrote me a note and said that, that was his way of thanking the NYPD. The man really loves this hobby. He does thing for us and never looks for glory. He is a true gentleman.

Shiro, with that comment I agree. If TC was a company, there would be complaint for taking to long but he isn't, he is just one of us.

If TC is just a normal member then I agree. However as a vendor who receive buyer's money in exchange of services & goods, I think the buyer have all the rights to complaint of a bad experience.

I know we are dealing with replica goods and not amazon, but being a reputable seller TC does have something for him to uphold, for his own benefits.

OP, just try to contact TC for a few more days and if nothing happens, I suggest to take up a help desk ticket and see how our hard-working mod/admin team can help.
