As @walkingcloud said, was just announced in gen form 36 hours ago! Gen won't even be available for probably 5-10 months, let alone the rep...

Very true. None of the new models are available in the AP boutique here, yet. I have checked yesterday.
The latest model they have is this blue/gold bankers offshore that JF didn't rep properly (got the colours wrong).

I know, it very well may! Sometimes they have in past indeed!

But do keep in mind thats why AP sometimes announces something, puts press release photos out, etc - then changes a few small details when the actual watch is physically released.

For instance, the Ceramic Divers. Remember the all BLACK hash marks in rotating inner bezel? The true watch ended up only having WHITE ones!
So, V1 rep was incorrect. I think it was updated by V2 but may have not been till V3. This is before they were even ceramic, when the case was DLCd or PVDd steel. I had one.
There are other instances as well...

Anyway, I'd much rather have a rep based off an actual, physical (presumably bought by the maker) watch - then a rep made off some marketing photos (because that one may turn out to be incorrect...)

Of course they wouldn't be out in gen form yet.... IN THE PAST, it has taken anywhere between 5-10 months for the gens. It's usually summer or fall. Maybe this year will be different. But they certainly don't ship out new models to boutiques and ADs BEFORE SIHH and before the press releases come out...

Anyway, we all just love watches here! No sense arguing, no hard feelings. I'm sure we will see some good reps relatively soon! (I'm sure we can all agree on that!) And announcements will be posted right here on our very own RWI!

On a side note - that makes me sureeeee miss Angus' section on RG with new model announcements & photos, feedback for factories, etc. He doesn't do the updates or inside information anymore but it was a great place at the time! :sad:

PS. The speculation of why AP (and other companies as well) release photos of a new watch, then deliberately change or alter slight details for the final product - is "supposedly" because of the rep world. There have been numerous old threads on this here...
