Yeah man, I'm super Envious. That's what I am thinking of doing, getting one gen and keeping my TC's

I just noticed something. Everyone is getting up in arms about the new V5 bracelet having SELs that protrude a fraction of a mm beyond the end of the lugs. If you look at your gen SD 4000, your SELs do the same thing and it is gen. I have also seen pics of gen ceramic subs that display the same characteristics. I think this is completely overblown. Your SD is pure magic. Just gorgeous, and no gen owner is going to complain or even notice or care about the SEL length relative to the lugs. It looks gorgeous as hell!

Photos of 2 gen 16610LV's with protruding lugs. What is all the fuss about?

I meant your gen SD has SELs that go beyond the length of the lugs. Everyone is making a fuss about the sub V5 doing that. I've recently seen pics of gen subs that look the exact same way. I think it is all overblown. I think there is variation with gens, too. That's all. :)

Very nice indeed.

What dial do you prefer....the glossy (LV) or matte (SD)?

I'm trying to decide whether they should've used a glossy dial on the SD4000, to go with the overall bling bling ceramic bezel and sapphire crystal? Amazing watches eitherway.

The matte works perfectly on the SD. Funny thing is though, in some lights it has an almost satin look. Halfway between glossy and matte.

The shinny dial works for the LV. Great contrast with the green insert
