There are two submersibles - 682 in SS and 684 in RG, although one dealer listed a 684 as SS which would make it a 683.
Panerai released three more 42mm submersibles - a 683 (black ceramic bezel), a 959 (gray dial and blue ceramic bezel) and a PAM 960 (Carbotech case). No doubt these will get everyone's attention once they're repped.
Outside of that, there's a handful of radiomirs and luminors in 42mm but you'll need to check across TD sites and contact them for availability.
What's good for one member may not be for another as size, weight feel and looks are personal tastes.
Toro lists the 682 and 684 as 16mm thick. Is that accurate to your knowledge?

I am pretty sure XF is 16 and ZF is 15.5 from what I have read. I have a ZF682 and ZF684 inbound now and will confirm once in hand...
@martycus
Thanks guys. It’s damn chunky then. Compared to 111, which is 44x14
Well you have to consider that submersible bezel, that's going to introduce additional height compared to a standard Luminor case. Also an automatic movement with its rotor is going to need a bit more clearance than a manual wind.
You’re right. I’m still trying to find a pam that I can wear to work on my 6.75 wrist. I guess I’ll hope for a thinner 676
