Quick question: does the gen Moonswatch dial fit on a PE50 or it has to be glued on it?

@Caboose and myself have probably produced the most of these builds. We have tried almost all AliX cases

The build quality and finish of the DC case was the worst. By far.

Putting a gen dial and an ETA in this is a waste
The DC case is super super bad. I think the crystal fell out of mine. Not a quality item.

I'm new here. Tried to build a pogue type using a Pagani case and a sun moonswatch

However, the sun movement seems to have broken in the process. I can still change time, but it no longer runs.

Can someone confirm, when taking out the crown stem, should I have it pulled all the way out or pushed all the way in?

It is possible that the dial moved and it is blocking the 6h hand

Some times I have had to start the chrono, once running, stop and reset it and the seconds would start. Also, in my experience, crown has to be all the way in for seconds to move. And if stem is too long and crown is screwed down too tight, seconds will also stop.

Ok, I need to research that, but dial looks to be in the correct position.

This is with the movement out of the case. If I look very closely it's like the lowest chrono second hand is trying to move, but isn't. The red chrono hand moves if I activate it.

Yup
That’s it
The dial feet are super flexible and the movement is plastic

If the dial hole touches the hand collet then the small seconds hand will stutter

Just nudge the dial and it should work.

At worse, those pe50 movements cost a few euros on AliX (but come with no battery)

I just chalked it up to "I've broken this" and ordered a new one from AliEx. Saves me messing about swapping hands etc.

I'm still not sure if I have done it by removing the stem incorrectly though. Do I pull the stem out to time change setting before pressing the little bit in to remove or leave it fully pressed in?
