First i want to say thanks to all the people who contributed to this post. I really learned alot. So i take it the watch i want is really an amazing rep, but the biggest issue with it is this unreliable auto movement. Are these things that can get easily fixed if they break ?? meaning there are people in the usa or maybe he in texas that can fix them for a fair price ?

levelman can you give me some example of what Omega or Panerai watches u believe look good and are a good buy. I have no brand loyalty to any watch maker as iam just starting out and the Tag Heuer was really just the first watch that cought my eye.

Again thx so much for eveyrones help, learned alot over the last two days.

I struck up a friendship with a watchsmith in the mall. I told him that I collected watches (reps and gens) and that I would like to bring any watch I am having any issues with to him. He has been my watch guy ever since. He enjoys examining any new rep purchases I make as he is amazed at the quality. So far I have had good luck with all my watches, even the 7750s so I have not really had to have him do anything, but he is there just in case.
