All shipping info sorted itself out, and one pair of glasses is coming today after only 4 business days. When they're in I'll post some pics

The one person who lagged on shipping by a few days actually messaged me to apologize. Isn't bad considering a couple said they shipped days ago, but tracking says they shipped them yesterday.

I was wondering, has anyone purchased one of those suits posted earlier in the thread? I'm curious to see how hilariously bad, or relatively decent they are

As promised, here are some pics of the first pair of glasses that came in today. Very impressed by the quality of these. They are just as solid as gen 2140 wayfarers, with actual glass G15 lenses. There were some fit and finish issues, but hey, these cost $35, so who cares?

They came in a box that felt the same, and looked the same as my gen pair, with all the proper labels on the outside.



Here's everything that came with it. I took the plastic off the glasses, and took them out of a RayBan plastic bag they were in.


The case looks and feels better than the case that came with my gen pairs. It's a little darker, the texture is actually better, and the text is just as sharp. Pretty surprising


The frames had some issues with sharp edges, some that would normally be heavily beveled or rounded. The brow portion, is a little too flat, accentuated by the sharp points at each corner. This is easily fixed with a little DIY though. It still looks very close to gen as is. The RayBan logo on the glass is perfect, and so are the logos on the temples.




The seven layered hinges are solid, and same as gen.


All markings are correct, and crisp, on the inside of the arms.



The RB etching in the glass is exactly like my gen pair.


Since I wasn't super stoked on how the edges were, and how flat the brow was, I decided to fix it. About an hour of careful sanding, wet sanding, and cape cod cloth, delivered these results. They are damn near the same as gen now, and no one would be able to tell in hands. Extremely happy with them now

As I see and read the Wayfarer are the best rep in glasses, so dissapointing because they dont fit my face according to my sis and mom haha

Aw man, that is too bad. Most rep glasses don't even come this close, especially since rep wayfarers actually have glass lenses. Try on some of the new wayfarer styles, those might fit better than the classic heavily raked style. I'm getting 3 pairs of those in a week, I'll do another mini review

These glasses are pretty good. The only problem I had was with the brow section. If you have some sandpaper, you can thin, and reshape, and polish them to be perfect (like I did). Well worth the 35 dollars. The feel of them is amazingly gen. I can't wait to see how the 3 pairs of new wayfarer work out. I've got some Oliver People's coming as well. I'll do the same review for the four of them as well!

So far I only managed to find some from their sister company, taobao.com which is harder to navigate since it is in Chinese.

I bought silk handkerchiefs and truth is quite disappointed. The quality is very low I wouldn't buy ties in AE, I Prefer EBay for complements made of silk
