Today is my lucky day for ordering from Ali day. First order is this. It doesn't come with tags but based off feedback it looks real close as to the original so let's see

Ive seen a few similar on Ali... but they are crap fakes... the whole design of the Hermes "Idem" belt kit as its called is very cool, also the way it has no visible end to the belt when worn...

Seen a couple of people out there with good reps so I know there must be some out there...
The hours I've spent trawling through Yupoo accounts or Ali etc...


If you see any please let me know, theres probably a few others on this forum who would like to know also :)

One thing I always recommend people to do before purchasing on Ali is request pictures/get a vibe from the vendor.

Lol, gotta love when they tell you that their image for the product is a real picture...but you notice more than 1 vendor have that same identical picture [emoji23][emoji23]


In this case, I doubt I'll purchase from them simply based off their fuckery

When there's lots of identical pictures from various sellers it usually just means they are all buying from the same place and reselling: But are too lazy to take their own pictures.

It's pretty much exactly what people like Darcy and Anita do (if you have heard of them), only with way less effort invested.

If you want something particular from off white PM me and I can probably find it on Taobao for you easily.

BaseTao is quite easy to use, I've personally done 3 quite large hauls from there. They have good service and speak quite good English.

The downside is the you have to pay first, however with something a bit more complex like personalisation, it definitely helps to have someone who speaks Chinese doing it rather than bumbling around with Google translate.

And I just bought one unit. If you want to bulk buy try 1688.


If anyone needs BaseTao help, feel free to ask.

Also got a small haul waiting at home with a bunch of Goyard in, will post some pics for you guys later when I have it.

Thank you so much. So you say it's not that bad of an issue to order just one unit similar to what you do on Ali? I just want to trial and error, and rather play it safe before I go on a crazy bulk.

I figured that some get their same product from one person.

I just lose trust whenever the vendor gives me a "no pictures" response. Kind of makes me step back and look for someone else.

Do Anita and Darcy use the same person? Yeah, I speak to Anita on and off about price quotes since all her product has no prices, but she has some fair prices.

I've only really ever ordered one of any one item. Taobao is literally just chinese ebay with way more fakes so there's no reason to bulk buy or anything.

Also with regards to your Anita and Darcy question; I honestly don't know about their suppliers. I have had Goyards from Darcy and they weren't any better than the cheap ones from Taobao that i've PM'ed to people.

I have seen these but they are bad fakes... nowhere near the sleek original design, the tops and bottoms of the "H" should wrap around the leather and basically be two ovals connected by the centre "-" link of the H...

Also the genuine the leather ends at the end of the H as to create a seamless look (no end of the belt can be seen when worn)

I appreciate you taking the time to look but I'm still so upset I can't find a good one.

You're right. I thought it might be possible to achieve the seamless look by removing the part of the strap thats too long, or maybe just moving the hole for the buckle. I'd like to see more pictures of the buckle as the one in the screenshot is rather unclear.

I don't understand what they were thinking when they designed these, if you see the reverse shots you'll then see that they look nothing alike...

Not only would these get called out by anyone who knows about Hermes but all I can imagine is bending down and getting jabbed in the gut by those spiky looking H-tops... :laugh:

All I've found on them was some 2/3 year old forum posts on here when apparently there used to be a seller that had perfect replicas, but maybe they got shut down...

Like I said before "Uncle Bench" who were a trusted seller at one time on "purse princess" sent me some photos of what looked like the perfect belt, But they were asking for 200USD which is way too high for any rep belt...
Its also possible they are a scam site and took those photos from the web.
