My order with Ann hit a bump... The PDV bag is different than advertised apparently because the factory changed it without telling the seller. Seller however is extremely apologetic and still in discussion on how to work out the best solution before going the refund route.

Hope it turns out well!

Why buy Timberlands from ALi? JUst wondering. The real ones have a life time guarantee if you have use it. I bought a pair 25 years ago and I have been through 3-4 pairs, if they get junked through normal wear they replace them. I have not replaced them in 7ish years I presume they still offer this guarantee though. It might be worth checking it out.

Yes, that is a positive with AE.
However wanted the jacket ...
:-(
No, I don't maintain contact. Don't worry about your funds though as they're held in escrow. Just open a dispute and you should get it back easy peasy.

Getting back on track - has anyone tried any of the Vilbrequin surf shorts? Looking for a review as the previous link appears to be going on sale on 3/29. Thanks in advance.

Not when you're in Malaysia my friend. They mark up the prices here like crazy. I bought a pair from the states at USD 100. They're selling it here if you factor in the conversion at about USD215 for the same pair. Don't think the life time guarantee applies in the Asia Pacific region as well.

Damn that is a pity about the guarantee, yeah we are ripped off here too. The price for a pair here in Ireland is about the same. They don't appreciate how lucky they have it there in the US.

You Ali guys are free to chit chat about all the treasures you've found and bought, that's not an issue. But do it in a respectful manner and consider the board your posting on. Have respect when a staff member says cool it or knock it off. Don't argue back it only makes things worse.

No one here minds you posting the fake shoes, bags, wallets, rings, ball scratchers, underwear, or whatever the F it is.

The rule as clearly outlined by TB is no posting live clickable links. Which is easily visible for everyone to see.

There's no use in arguing over this or taking shots at staff, other members, or posting accusations against trusted sellers who have nothing to do with the decision.

+1 One more thing, always go gen on the ball scratchers. Not worth the risk on a cheap knock-off. :)

Fiddo, I would agree with you but if you Ask TxThrob, which I did, he's very happy with the one he got there.

No idea I would have to assume so. I personally would not buy them from there I wait till the sales in the timberland stores, I always manage to get them at half price. The kids all wear timberlands as they are the only boots for them that I have found that last more than 3 months without falling apart, 1 pair can outlast 4-5 other pairs. So it does cost initially but you get it back in wear.
