Thank you for the pics and links, how do you feel the roller pen?
Is the star well centered at top?

Thank you

Hi,

They look pretty good to me to be honest - and I do like the way they write, they sit well in the hand and are comparable with the gen Meisterstuck I have. I guess for what they cost, there is always going to be the risk of some factory mistakes occasionally, but mine are all spot on. If I were to stick a gen roller ball cartridge in, I think I would be hard pressed to tell the difference.

Cheers

G

I have to agree, I was at the local pen shop to do a comparison between my rep Boheme and the gen, no difference, the weight, the design, mine even has Pix under the clip, no difference. I kinda understand getting gen fountain pens but with these rep rollerballs, you would be wasting money buying gen. If anyone has any doubts, they shouldn't.

I placed the order on June 4th for three Cartier Love Bracelets and two branded Cartier boxes. My total was $31.26 altogether. The package arrived on June 15th via USPS. It was well packed and protected. Everything arrived safely.

The branded boxes look alright. Not exactly what I think Cartier is delivering their product in, but an acceptable box.

The product itself looks and feels solid. The engraving looks good. It has the newer style screws which don't come out completely, so you can't lose them. I'm really happy about everything, and will probably be ordering some more products soon.

Here are the photos I took.

This was my line of thinking. I don't really feel the way about gen pens I do about gen watches, they don't fascinate me or impress me much and I don't care much for knowing it's made of fancy shit like platinum linings and whatever. If the pen looks, feels and works as well as the gen and is 95% as good, I'm sold. When you get into fountain pens, gold pens etc. where replicas become poor representations then I start to understand why you would go gen. This is totally a personal attitude though, as I am not a writer and I don't plan on passing a pen to any future generations!

In fact, technically, given the Montblanc Starwalker Doue Fineliner I ordered a rep of is $650, and the rep was $20, it only needs to be 4% as good and it's still mathematically a good deal. ;)

EDIT: On another note, has anyone seen any of the leather notepad/notebooks from Montblanc yet? Like this sort of thing? I found nothing.

Got to love this thread. It's taken over my eBay addiction! Only problem is you have to wait slightly longer for your items.

Hey guys, just wanted to share some of the rep knives I've purchased from Ali. I'm not a huge knife guy, nor do I know the difference between the gen and rep of these models - they looked cool and I enjoy just collecting them for no reason.

I just received my second Extrema Ratio knife yesterday and sliced my finger on it. These come sharp!!

This has been on my hunting list as well!

I just recently just bought one of these through my supplier. I want to say it was $58 for the best quality, same quality as all my other LV damier graphite luggage which is the best there is. I wouldn't look for one on Ali though, as any good rep supplier who offers things outside of watches can get you one of these.

I was super happy with my montblanc pens I ordered from Ali... However... They've started falling apart... Unfortunately the groove inside the lid is made out of really weak plastic....
From who you bought it? To dont buy from there haha
Any body go back thru this thread to find the links of what they may be interested in?
Any body try searching AE for the hell of it?
Any body have some coffee?

I am making a list with all the interesting links
