Hey guys - I checked out the belt. Didn't have a chance to take any pics yet. Quality was decent for the price. Let's be honest I was not expecting high end leather and perfect buckle for 14.99

it looks fantastic and fits me well. Honestly I would probably get a size larger next time. Smells like rubber and chemicals again. Came with a box. Decent stitching. But feels rubbery. Even the inside velvet material feels like velvet rubber lol. I can not compare this to gen as the feel is quite different - I took out my gen Gucci belt to compare and well quickly put it away lol. Overall - good product and as expected for the price. If you want high quality, well gotta contact jafo lol.

I wore it today, its not bad. Its certainly nice and the buckle is heavy. not quite the $350 feel, but great for $15 shipped!

Hey I am a pen aficionado! I have about a do zen or so Montblanc fountain pens , including three MB 149's the holy grail pen of fountain pens from MB. I do have a couple of fakes and they are incredibly good. So good that I might not buy the gen version of them. They only fall apart (figuratively) at the nib. This is where the rep fails quite bad. There is no way a rep nib made of stainless steel will be better than the gen 14k or 18k nib. The SS nib still writes admirably
well but pales to a gold MB nib.

I do have the cheaper Chinese branded fountain pens but they don't write as well as my MBs or my Visconti or Montegrappa pens.

Belt pics and review as promised:

Pros:
- Looks good when you are wearing it
- Price is awesome (Around $15)
- LV logo from the front looks pretty decent

Cons:
- Definitely not leather (Front or back)
- Smells like chemicals and Rubber
- Feels like rubber/plastic/pleather to the touch
- Upon close inspection, the edges of the back portion of the clasp/logo are poorly finished
- Edges of the belt are sealed with rubber (Similar to the way straps are) but there is excess rubber, had to go over it a few times to take the extra rubber off.

Interesting update. So the seller for the belt and I had been having a decent conversation about rep belts throughout this purchase process. After i received the belt, i gave him my honest opinion, and told him that i was not 100% thrilled. He confirmed that this is fact not real leather and said that they have better quality products, but they cost a little more. He then offered to send me one of the better quality ones to see if I like it. If I do, I can pay him after, if not i can send it back. I have not encountered such a seller before, pretty unique i think. In any case, i guess i will wait to see if/when the new belt arrives and i can do a little comparison.

This is an interesting discussion, everyone loves a bargain.

I've been browsing AliExpress, it's difficult to find stuff, they're not supposed to use the brand name.

Found some MB pen dealers, but I'd love to get a Goyard or even better, a Bottega Veneta wallet.

Can anyone provide me with some alternate names for Goyard and Bottega Veneta that I should type into search field?
