Received my Hermes bag via EMS from the seller. Everything is wrapped nicely with full box, ribbon, and paper bag. Nicely wrapped in clear transparent plastic bags before you finally see the bag after unwrapping layers of it.

Everything was very well made except for one and biggest problem. The logo and the gold hardware below is slanted to one side. No way my Missy is going to use that when I give it as a gift to her. Have contacted seller and he offered a big discount off my next purchase. I told him that is unacceptable since this is a gift and there is no way I can even give it away now. I am willing to send it back to him for him to send another bag down to me, even if I have to pay for shipping to send it back to him. If I understand him correctly, the whole batch from the factory this time have the same problem so this option is not possible. The last reply he gave me last evening is he is willing to give me a refund and for me to keep the bag.

Seems like there are good sellers in AE after all. He have just given me a renewed confidence to buy more products from him. Will update later when I hear from him.

Most sellers from China surprisingly will do this! My misses bought some table cloths for an event from Amazon or eBay that were shipped from China, they turned up wrong - couple emails back and forth with seller and refusing their options of a discount from next order and then % of refund if we shipped back. Eventually they issued a full refund and we were told to keep the product.

I'm sorry about the bag issue, but it does look great! Do you have a link to the Ali store?

I don't see what you are talking about as the issue from the pic you posted. Can you provide a better representation of the issue with the bag.

I'm surprised they took the hit and just refund. Maybe because they do not want any negative ratings.

Yes, will PM you the link to his store shortly.

I'm looking into this seller now. His moonrocks have the incorrect liner colour. The originals is a dark cream colour that matches the outer material, but the reps look to be white.

His Pirate Blacks look awesome, I'm just trying to figure out how to order from him on AliExpress and find out how much he charges, I know its an extra $16 for express shipping but no actual shoe cost. He also doesn't do QC photos on your order.

I also had some photos sent to me from a different seller attached below. These are $175 for the blacks and $195 for the moonrocks including DHL shipping. These look pretty sweet if they are in fact reps!

I already received the moon rocks and they look perfect except a few minor flaws like the back stitch count or the softness of the boost material. He always sends me qc but like I said I do all the haggling on whatsapp and then place order on Ali in order to have protection

Completely off the beaten path here, but since someone else mentioned dried plums... are there any interesting Chinese snacks to be had on Aliexpress? Not so into moon cakes and sweets, but definitely into rice snacks etc.

Last update based on my many conversations with him, he is only willing to offer part refund or else I ship back to him for a full refund. That is what I will do. Have opened a dispute and he has accepted it that I will ship back to him for a full refund. He is still asking to give me part refund of $55 (based on latest) if i were to accept the bag and not return it to him.

Thing is, don't think my wife will use it if the logo is so tilted to one side.

How is it attached? If it's glued, can you heat it up and reattach it?

The logo is hotstamped on the bag, so i don't believe there is anything I can do.

Chances are - you will not get back all the money you spend on returning it and will loose out in the end - I have had this happen to the two items I have returned in the past. With one guy saying he never got it despite tracking showing he had and the other refusing to pay back the entire amount of shipment costs saying I shouldn't have sent in such an expensive matter since it only costs XXX to send it to me - and guess what? Ali took their side in both the disputes.

In hindsight now if it's not too much of a loss, I would just take the partial and get another.

They fear the negative feedback more! And since you can alter this ONCE at a later stage - leave a strongly worded neg feedback before you start the dispute (as you loose the ability to do this afterwards) and the seller becomes a lot more understanding in the hope you will remove it.

If you wanted to get really harsh with the seller say you will report them for selling replica goods, it's not allowed on Ali.

Do you think you could take a couple photos of the shoes you got from him? I don't care how much they cost , I just don't want to spend forever sorting out a decent pair where I won't get called out.

Damn, I just came back from the postal office. Saw this too late. I am still able to leave a feedback despite already escalating to a dispute?

If all else fails and he plays punk and say he never receive it, I'll go to Ali and say that. Hope that's not too late by then.

You don't actually go to Ali and tell them. You just threaten to do so to the punk seller! I bought a bag on there and it was absolute crap when it got delivered. I was so annoyed with the seller I threatened it after they refused a refund first time round and eventually got them to issue full refund and I threw the bag in the bin.
