I really am no expert, but I've been lurking at enough QCs to tell you that it does not seem right. As always with these watches, you should decide what "issue" is a no-go for you. If you can live with a dial that moves while you change the time, then go for it

Oops. I meant that I wouldn’t buy it. i agree with other comments ^ that you may not be able to get a perfect watch every time. However, being aware of an obvious issue before you buy it would be a red flag for me.

The dial is loose, and there is a fair chance it got scratched or will get scratched in transport

I don’t suppose anyone has one they’re willing to part with? I ordered one for my wedding in 9 days. It’s arrived today but they’ve sent the small not the large. I’ve asked for another so would be happy to sell it back plus some if someone’s willing to help a man out.

How is the water resistance on these? Has anyone taken one swimming?
I know the gen isnt even rated for swimming (just 30m), but I see the gaskets on the AF are there and I’ve recently had a lot of other surprisingly water and steam immune 30m watches

It's rated for 30m, which means: keep it 30meters away from water.

Safe for washing hands and rain etc. Do not submerge it.
