I agree, but in the past year I have watched at least 10 fake Tag Heuer Carrera go for nearly £1000 or even above. I have reported every single one.
I think this type of watch is particularly bad because of the type of person who buys it. Don't get me wrong, I love the watch and have one myself but it is a name and a watch that recognised by people who aren't into watches and as a result, posers by it.
This means they do not know how to spot a fake and seemingly don't have the inclination to find out before throwing £1000 away and most i've seen on Ebay have been been obvious, some ridiculously so.
They are always private listings so I cannot message the bidders.
Anyway, of course, I will proceed with caution if I chose to do this, I realise people can be innocently selling a fake.
