I have also finished the tear down of the new movement (well... my friend watchsmith)
We agree with Chris it looks really good and well made. My friend watchsmith get impressed talking about a rep movement (and he knows the matter).
There are parts that are coming from A7750 but the rest are custom made
The GMT device is better than usually in reps fitted with A7750
That is PROMISHING
I have taken more 400 pics in the process
We will try to write the review asap

I have to agree with ALE.
The movement looks really promising and they use some parts from the 7750, but not many. The keyless is from the 7750 ,the wheel train and the main spring.
The rest is custom made and looks really nice for a clone movement!

So far I've had this watch for almost 24 hours and tracked the movement at -3.5min/day. When the TD sent me QC pics it showed +3 sec. not sure why but that's fishy.

I'll try and track it again but is noticeable running slow. Might need regulation that's all but going from +3 sec to -3.5 min is extreme

True, that doesn't sound promising but let's see what ALE and chris found out about the timekeeping of that heavily customized movement. And yes, please repeat the test a few times then you can be sure.
What I'm also courious about is, whether the power reserve is really not working... or is it? ...maybe?

It's advertised not to be working but I notice it fluctuates so it does move. Not sure what it's dependent on but when I first got the watch the bar was black. Now it's currently half red. I'm repeating the test. It could be due to me not fully winding it or something. I'll report back.

The PR indicator turns freely and is not conducted with the movement.
So the disk turns but has no function

Finished the dismantling of the new movement P.9001

Waiting for the final complete review, see below some pics and comments:

- Overall finish and quality of the movement parts are really good. In the best level of the rep movements.
- Some parts come from A7750, but most of the parts are custom made
- We can call this Movement as “Clone”, since many parts are custom made and the overall external layout looks like P.9001. But it actually is a custom made movement visually similar to gen P.9001.
- Of course, escapement wheel is real and completely working like a P.9001
- GMT device are over the average in reps. But always with GMT 24 hrs
- Rotor bearing is high quality and three screws of fixation are real
- Good system of gaskets to get waterproofing. We will make test
- The upper bridge is just decorated by a thin plate (you can see it on the pics) to get the P.9001 appearance, but it is not a decorative plate to hide the movement
- The functions of the crown are like a conventional movement, different from gen P.9001 functions
- Non-working PR indicator
- A bit dry oiling of the parts involved.
- Nice results on Timegrapher

As a summary: it is a visually accurate rep movement, very nicely manufactired, with good technical solutions and high quality parts. A promising rep movement that if it finally is reliable, as the quality of the parts are auguring, will be a future must for P.9000 and P.9001 reps.

This teardown has been kindly made by the watchsmith Manuel Vizcaino, owner of Replicantres workshop, one of the best european watchsmiths, working on gen and reps.
Replicantres is located in Alcalá de Henares (near to Madrid). [email protected]

Waiting for the complete review, thanks for reading

Who is everyone ordering from? I usually use Sead and haven't heard back yet. Just curious

I used an off-site dealer (so far not connected with any forum) but any TD should be able to supply this watch. If sead isn't able to reply, then try the other TDs. That's understandable. ;)

This watch just keeps growing on me.
So much so that I have now ordered a Ceramic bracelet and a Corrigia leather strap.

The build quality is simply amazing and the movement is rock solid.

Bring on the Bronzo is all I can say!
