OK - I have had my Noob Sub C for 4 days now. Here is my take -

Fit and finish - As close to a Gen as I have ever seen, especially the bracelet. Silky smooth excellent brushed finish, correct bright silver color. Case is near perfect on finish too.

Crown - Thiis a big one for me. Again, as close to Gen as can be. The surfaces between the teeth need to be polished with a dremel a little to get it perfect. The machined edges on the teeth are sharp, as per Gen. Most Reps, like the BP sub, have crowns with rounded edges and a rough finish between the teeth - screams fake and this is not something you can fix without replacing the crown and right now I have yet to find a gen crown for the new case as it is bigger than the old style 7mm crown.

Dial - held it up next to a Gen Nothing the naked eye would detect. Easily passes off as Gen in appearance. Yes, the metal hour marker rings are a nano measurement thicker than the Gen, but again, unless you are comparing 10x pictures or looking at it through a jewelers loupe, not worth obsessing over.

Hands - Yes the hour hand arm from the center to the circle is a little wider and shorter than the Gen, but again, not really that big of a deal, even when when compared side by side to the Gen.

Lume - Close to the Gen blue color, but not nearly as bright.

AR'd cyclops - Yes it has AR and it works well, but probably one of the most annoying flaws of this watch is that the cyclops has that dreaded blue tint to it under certain lighting conditions.

Bezel insert /pearl - I read all the reviews of the Noob vs BP Sub so when I purchased the watch I also bought a BP insert and BP hands - I wasted my money for sure. To the naked eye, side by side, the Noob insert is equal to the BP insert in correct tint of the black color and depth of the engravings. The pearl on the Noob gets it right, the pearl on the BP is off when compared to the Gen. In real person, both insets are a teeny off from the Gen, but not by much. Noob is the best.

How did it run? Better than any of my Gens... In four days it lost 1sec !!!!!!!!

Bottom line is that this is a great watch and I think it is too bad a vocal minority of people scared the manufacturer away from producing this watch by scrutinizing magnified pictures and complaining that what essentially amount to micro flaws which are undetectable by the naked eye need to be fixed. The fit, feel and finish of this watch are truly "Super Rep" in quality and this is where the watch excels.

If you are one to obsess over the micro flaws, this watch can easily be modded to near Rep perfection, but truthfully, I do"t see the point. It really is that good...

Kev, we must be mad. We cant possibly have the BEST sub about. Sure seems we both have exactly the same opinion of this true game changing rep. Hahaha
Superb buddy, really glad you like it. Wear it well mate, cant wait to compare my one with a BP to shut someone up for good!

Well, to be fair, the BP and the Noob Sub C are both great watches. If I were going to make the Ultimate Rep I would drop a BP Sub dial and hands into a Noob, install a Gen crystal or get the cyclops AR'd correctly and be done with it.

I cannot speak to the quality of finish or the feel on a BP Sub as I do not have one, but there are enough people who do have them and that have posted that the BP Sub feel is quite a bit substandard to a Gen that I believe them.

What I can tell you, though, is that the Noob Prototype Sub c really is the evolution of the Noob Factories ability to get the "Feel" of Gen right. The bracelet is brushed right and the parts are not only polished in a way that they give the watch that Gen luster, but add to the silky smooth feel when the bracelet is flexed. Additionally, the bezel turns as smooth as butter with crisp clicks that even sound exactly like a Gen bezel rotating.

These are all things that do not translate by examining blown up pictures looking for "Flaws" on a one dimensional computer screen. The Noob Gen feel is truly amazing and this is one of the things I enjoy most about the watch.

Is there any chance to get a side-by-side comparison gen/noob sub c?

If you did that you would come away not wanting one I think!
It seems the whole hype is about the watch's solid feel and quality build, rather than its resemblance to the genuine!
That solid feel is supposedly not conveyable via Internet, but only experienced in person!
