I gotta tell you B...I have been agonizing posting this for a long time. I honestly think this is them...I really do, and I think there is an entire album that was recorded between 08 and 2010...I did some digging and there was a court ruling that allowed whomever this chap is (producer of some sorts) to release THIS song for electronic sale...
I don't have any concrete proof, but if you ask me my honest opinion...
Yeah.

Wow that's incredible! So, if this material exists, do you think we'll ever get to hear it?

It's my understanding that Robert furiously tried to block any material being released as is, as he dreaded the mix of his vocals which was done by HIS guy at HIS request. So no, I do not think this will ever see the light of day...
But I find it intriguing that the most powerful group of control freaks could be taken so easily of the last few years, (02 rehearsal leak and now this stuff) and it just goes to show how important a player Peter Grant really was, because back in the day, this shit had ZERO mother trucking chance of EVER seeing the light of day.

I'd forgotten who Peter Grant was, so I've done some reading. He was a powerful force in the music industry indeed. He seemed very supportive and loyal to Led Zep.

I find this intriguing, with the unreleased material and all that. Given the fact that Grant died in '95 how could he be, in any way, responsible for putting a block on this. Or have I misread?

you misread, yes. My meaning was, IF Grant were alive today, none of this would be an issue. He was very strict with security of the bands material, and "leaks" and private material being available under his watch would have been dealt with on a personal level...
Normally a baseball bat, and the offenders head...
Grant was an intricate part of Led Zeppelin's success, and for anyone to truly understand why they were such a force in the music world you must learn about Peter Grants influence in the music business, as he changed how things were done forever.

OK, thanks for expaining things Zo. Like I said, I did some reading and Peter Grant was one hell of a character.....an actor as well.

Many pages ago I mentioned that I'd been to a few football games and rubbed shoulders with RP without ever speaking to him.

I'll make a promise to you Zo......if I get invited to any games next season, and if I see him, I'll finally speak and ask him about the material. Whether I get a response is anyones guess. I'll try.

That's a deal B, but I have a very good idea what his response will be...
With a deep breath he will exclaim...No one cares, old boring stuff i'd rather not talk about...and that will be the extent of the conversation.

Your probably right Zo. I only get invited when someone pulls out. My friend has season tickets not far from where Plant sits. Therefore he stands at the same bar prior to and half way between the game. I'm going over old ground here aren't I.........yawn

I keep listening, and as much as i'd love to think it's him, I just am not hearing Robert.

On this day in 1986, The Firm played the Seattle Center Coliseum as the last US date of the Mean Business tour. Record exec Phil Carson made his obligatory ‘once a tour’ appearance on bass.

At this point I am going to reserve judgment until I can get word from the horses mouth, which would be Jimmy himself.

I RECORDED WITH LED ZEPPELIN AT OLYMPIC STUDIO TWO
Hey Hey What Can I Do’ — on this recording, I used my own RCA limiter stroke compressor on the guitars.
