If you got a gen Aquanaut from around 2021/22 then it is probable that it already houses the new 330 SC caliber which would make both examples period correct.

If you browse the web it is more common that older 5167 are on sale which house the 324 SC and come with the rotor style seen on the right picture.

Keep in mind that the only thing changing on the clone movement is the engraving and the rotor whilst the gen actually comes with a newly designed bridge (the one where the caliber number is engraved).

I would stick to the old 324 SC style as it is more common for the aquanaut.
^ this, and the 330 has hacking second, while the 324 - and the 324 clone - doesn't so from a feature perspective the 324 would be more accurate than a 324 disguised as a 330

And where I can get the V2 version?
Some TD´s offer the V2 but not sure if they can deliver the V2.
And on what I should I pay attention by QC pics?
Thanks, Pete

I've tried to buy this watch 3x's. Getting it sourced can be difficult (i waited 2 months the first time and finally cancelled). And getting a good QC is really the hardest thing. Out of the 3 attempts i've been given 5 QC's and I approved 1. I wasn't being picky - they just have some pretty blatant flaws sometimes due to the alignment of the applied numbers. And then my TD went and lost the watch I had GL'ed and i gave up.

Things to watch for:
1. Datewheel alignment (mostly good on the most recent V2 batches ive seen in the past month).
2. Low and high print alignment of the PP logo (examples below).
3. Visible glue residue under an applied marker/hour number.
4. Misaligned hour numbers.

PP Logo centered a bit low in the box:

Best one i've seen (that I GL'ed but was lost):

Wonky numbers (the 11 isn't bad and was on the watch I GL'ed because they will never be perfect - but look at that 10...):

Not gen. The rotor and how large the surround around the Miyota 9015 screw is always is a good giveaway.

It does look like a ZF dial with the line passing through the bottom of the 5 on the dial. Perhaps someone fit the ZF dial in a 3KF?

I've been pondering getting one of these, but to be honest even the photos on the TD website of the 3K version the 12 is misaligned! Putting me off pulling the trigger, especially after reading your story too!

Anyway is this true?
3K have wrong case: 3 parts instead of two (bezel, case and caseback). Genuine watch and ZF latest version have 2 parts: case and caseback. The bezel is part of the case.. So, ZF watch is more accurate to gen.

Saw this today - don't know if its true or outdated news being posted as new? But this would indicate 3KF is now engraving the 324 again and not printing? Maybe only impacting the metal bracelet versions? Anyone confirm this?

I received a 3KF 5167a (on rubber) two weeks ago and can confirm the movement writing was engraved not printed.

That’s just 3K in general, not specific to any particular model from them. Even when they may have the best case, dial, movement etc from a technical specification perspective, their quality control still tends to be pretty lax.

I just received this picture from PureTime before shipping , any idea if this can be the 3K V2 ? there is some evident differences with the original or is a good replica?

Looks printed to me? Printed being like laser etched or watever process they are actually doing. Note the PP logo on the example I posted actually looks engraved to a different depth than the face of the plate it's on. Same for the engraving on the plate holding the balance in.
