Does anyone have any pictures of the gold markings so I know if they are bearable?

Sorry I don’t have a picture but hopefully this clarifies it for you. On the rubber strap SS model the backs of the lugs are marked as if it is a Gold watch . They are marked “750” for 18K gold and “AU 750” as well as a Gold hall mark. This is completely incorrect on a SS watch. The steel band model has no such markings.

very interesting catching up with all the information displayed during the last 6 pages. that the 20x1.8 springbars from everst solve our strap problem is cheeky.

Thank you for the explanation. I believe some members here managed to order the rubber version without gold markings, so that is indeed a possibility.

Jtime, but don't be mistaken it won't depend on the TD but on what 3KF will supply them at the time of order knowing that as previously stated I do believe 3KF just used unplated RG version as SS on purpose due to the high demand and probably mis-allocated case type production vs demand.

Yeah it seems they did correct the issue pretty early on, thankfully. But I would just say it’s something to keep an eye out for.

If you are using this to guage watch size for yourself

Remember wrist shape has as much to play as size. flat wide wrists can measure smaller but accommodate a larger watch.
A large round wrist will not accommodate a larger watch so easily

Yes. I was told the same. Oh well. Andrew offered a replacement but then at my request refunded immediately. Not his fault and good service.
