Folks - I have had my new 3777 for all of 6 days and it has become my favorite watch. Unfortunately I somehow knocked off the top chrono start/stop pusher button tonight. The stem is intact and unbent but I cannot find the pusher button. Is the button common with another design (such as 3717) and easily sourced or do I need to look for a part from the manufacturer? Also, is there a retainer for for the button other than it being joined to the pusher stem? If I do find a replacement button, how should be installed? What other concerns should I have for the repair? Thanks for the expert help. This is my first chrono as I feared the fragility, i.e. more external moving parts.

The pusher is secured by a screw, which probably broke when you hit the pusher. Sometimes the screw stems from the pusher as an integral part of it and a screw head screws in from inside the case into the screw/pusher. There are other designs in which the screw screws into the pusher (Concord C1 as an exemple). I am not sure about 3777, but You should ask the dealer for both the pusher and its retaining screw.
Thanks for the info. In my case it appears after reading a 3777 review today that the screws are loose from the factory. It is possible that the pusher just fell off as the pusher stem seems to be intact. If I am understanding from pictures the stem and screw are one and the same. If I am correct about that, what cause the spring pressure on the pusher? Does that come from the mechanism on the movement? If so I may just need a new pusher button.
The pusher mechanism includes an actual spring to cause the "spring pressure on the pusher". The spring goes inside the mechanism so that I believe you did not miss the spring, only the button.
I believe that you are right at this point. Attached are a picture of what I have after losing the button and a pic from another post showing the inside of the watch case and the screw heads. It appears that the screws are the integral pusher rods (unless I am missing something) and that I can simply reapply the button when I receive it by disassembling the case and tightening the screw. I have already requested a replacement button from from Ryan at InTime - I am sure he will come through.

It seems to be secure now I cant pull out the button anymore and chronos still work perfectly.
The chrono buttons should be free moving (i.e) able to twist them clockwise and anticlockwise fairly easily.

Agreed - I think that is where I am headed as well but I want to make sure the screws are tight on both pushers. According the review by Mirage, they might be shipping with those pusher screws loose.

I would like to put some work into this watch to make it sturdier than it is at shipment as it is absolutely stunning, provided you get one with well positioned indices, printing, etc. When I get the replacement button, I intend to disassemble the watch and tighten the pusher screws from inside to ensure they are tight for good.

I got turned down by my TD for a bunch of different spare parts this morning.... So Peter, If you see an opening for more, get 20, I'll take the additionnal 10.
Damn - my TD is telling me he cannot get the buttons and that I should ship the watch back for repair. This scares the hell out of me - what if I don't get the same watch back? If they can't get the buttons, how are they going to fix the watch? I know I now sound like more of a noob that I should be at this point, but everything I read tells me that shipping the watch back is risky as hell. I have been fortunate enough to have zero issues on watches from TD's up until now so this is a new scenario.

Exactly what I'm wondering. If they supposedly can't source the buttons, how are they going to repair the watches? Are they hedging on some people losing their watches shipping it back or deterring people from even sending it back? Unless they're going to go bring the watch to claim this with the maker and get a replacement/fix. Why wouldn't pictures from every single person suffice then?
According to Ryan, V6 maker says they are willing to repurpose pushers to fix a watch but scarcity makes them unwilling to send them out as spares or replacement parts. I will wait a few days to see of peterpl comes up with some replacements but not sure what the alternative is at this time. Is it possible that the pushers for a 3717 would fit? is there any standardization on that type of part such that there would be a domestic supply?
Unbelievable!! My detail guy found the chrono pusher in the car so I will be re-attaching today!
i've just started the process to get one of these - so when i receive it should i be doing something in particular to make sure i dont lose a pusher?
