I can see why you couldn't resist! It's a stunning watch! A real shame that AR is insufficient out of the box, but that's with most reps anyway!

This is a difficult question to answer... I would say that the 3714, the 3777 and the 3799 are on the same podium level. For different reason I would never get rid of any one of them.

Great watches. I have the blue laureus spitfire and find it to be a special kind of awesome dial but this 3714 is amazing

Well.... after almost 3 years of seeing my wrist once a week... it died today!. It jammed and after some nudge and tilting it started again, but eventually dies again....
Time to source one of those new movement 3714!

By the way I got a brand new 3714-45 gen from an IWC boutique and within 2 months it also stopped working. Goodnews is it's all sorted.

Just goes to show the rep game isn't that bad.
Most of my reps are far more reliable than some of my Gens from IWC.

Domi serviced mine iwc 3714-45 almost 4years ago and it's still going strong.

Mine died today, after approx. 2 years. However I was wearing the watch maybe 30-40 times, would not recommend to buy it

what does died mean?? can't you go to a watchsmith and repair it? did it totally break or are you able to get it fixed for around 200? if yes, i would not call it died.
i would deifnitely repair it in that case
