So the answer is no. As per what I have seen they have not changed anything. On TS website they even mentioned that they now carefully select the movements for better reliability.... So it is still a gamble. I love that watch so much, that I could not resist and went ahead with the gamble.
The more I look at TS website, the more I see a light tint of blue in the crystal. Mine does not have that... I'll have to order a white dial in order to compare...

Well I just went and put the 3714 under fluorescent light and yes, the inner surface has a slightly blue tint. But this AR is nothing close to my TW A7753 wich has the best AR I have seen on rep.

Yes she still In. And no warranty. And when it craps out, I will not even mention it to her. Because I knew exactely what I was purchasing.
Update on reliability: 106 hours so far and no problem
