the fact that we are having this discussion, and seeing some different views on a matter like this makes me feel that this forum is a stand up community, that makes a real effort to act in a grown up way.
no matter what people decide for themselves and how the individual member feels on this, things have been said and done from rwi to at least make it clear to members that this is a delicate issue, and why!

I am convinced not to buy it, really do cause of all this negative surroundings about this rep... Was really excited at first, I almost pull the trigger, even contacted Gunny for his 2010 amaretto, but now, l would rather upgrade my 28B with a new crown guard from torobravo

It's a rep and we on this forum buy reps. I don't feel that reps are cutting into the profits of gens. If anything, it's more advertising for the gens. Only so many people are willing to purchase gens at a certain price. The people buying reps would probably never buy the gen version anyway. So you can't say that the gen companies are losing money as a result of reps.
That's just my 2 cents. I own both gen and now only one rep with another on it's way as we speak.

I would have bought the gen given the opportunity. Since that option no longer exists for $6800 I'll have to go with Plan B.
And I believe in the AFTERLIFE form this watch will still create much controversy
Just relax and enjoy, sometimes we need to be more open mind and look from a different point of view.
For Rep producers, I believe they are enjoying and produce this creation to give a self satisfaction, shaping their skills and also get a good commercial benefits for it.
And for others, especially for me a Rep collectors, then this creation will be nice and beautiful creation to add my collections.
Sooner or later, this 360 REP will be on the market, its just about time, and DSN has proof it and be the 1st who did it. Even DSN won't Rep it, then others will do. Only our soul and life that can't be Rep in this world.
We all know that It's impossible to make everybody happy, but it's so possible to make a Rep Collector feel so happy
In the end, again I will give my good applause on this DSN 360

If we build something similar minus the commemorative caseback is it considered a rep of the 360 and not a fantasy piece?
I like the 360's dial, the combination of the logo and vintage lume is classic. Changing the caseback is one alternative, I mean who is checking and wouldn't that offset a little of the immorality of repping the 360? I see it as avoiding the entire to rep or not to rep controversy.

DSN could build you a custom watch using his 201/A dial and a PVD case, if that's what you're after. That would have no ties to the 360 and would have the same aesthetic.
I'd love a sterile version of this... Maybe I'll beg DSN to make me one. This would let me stand outside the controversy and still have a beautiful watch!!!
