Links are useless, TDs don't update their websites. The best version by far is the JF V2 with the SH3132 inside.

You need to tell your TD that you want the updated dial. And every single TD can get you one. You happened to pick two of the most expensive TDs, but they are great for nervous noobs.

BP watches are inferior in overall quality, they don't feel anywhere near as good as JF releases. BP watches feel like reps..

JF v2 Explorer is just today confirmed as Super Rep, dial font is fixed...good advise to verify with TD that's what you want, so an old stock isn't moved on you.

Btw to OP, the issue stemmed from correct font spacing for 2010 gen version, but that one didn't have lume on the 3 6 9 numerals, and it also carried over the hands from the prior 36mm Explorer, making them too small for 39mm.

The 2016 gen fixed the spacing, and the short hands, but added lume to the 3 6 9

Reps with lumed 3 6 9 , long hands, but with font spacing; is incorrect from gen

Latest should fix and super rep status, impossible to get called out, and possible free cleaning at AD because there is apparently very little left to 'tell'... exciting stuff for this classic under the radar piece!

Im getting confused now, so can you please link some TD with the version you think is best? By reading this threat i think BP? Im confused. Intime or puretime. Where to order from? BP if you want a more accurate dial. JF's "3" font is off, too thin and curvy.

The older BP's yes, they are crap finish but they have recently step up their game. I have a fair share of both JF and BP's and I can say that BP is catching up, quality and feel not so far off JF now.

Hi, so i found 3 versions, for example i use Trusty time website. As far as i know, JF version is supposed to be best, is that still true? On the video of JD version EX PLOR ER is still on dial, where BP is not, BP comes with 2 movements, can you tell me which one to go for, or if there is any newer version that is better? I want reliable movement that i don´t need to service when i get the watch.

This model is for me very confusing so i will be thankful for any advice ( also what is the difference between A2836 and A3132 and which one is better ). Im really surprised there is no SUPEREP version of this watch as it is most simple dial of all the models imho

Just get the JF. The font issue has been fixed in the latest batches.

when you guys say that you bought from Mary or Angus, etc, do you contact them directly via email/PM or do you place the order on their website and then they get in contact ?

Don't bother with all these Web links online ordering etc unless you really have to, it just overcomplicates the whole process. I bought maybe 50 watches over time, never used a website or a Web link ever!

Looks really nice. I'm kind of sitting on the fence with it, wary that some movements have failed. Hope yours turns out to be a good one. Can I ask how you feel the bracelet handles, does it feel sturdy and well made, and how are the edges smooth rounded or sharp?

Really, the whole watch is very very gen-like. The finish of the bracelet is superb, all is very smooth. The polished parts shine like a diamond. Power reserve is not that great, but then again, I did not handwind it.

It's a little bit too small for me.
But maybe I have to get used to it.

I gave myself a quiet smile when you said "its a bit too small for me". When I got into reps some 13 years ago it was because I first saw a panerai and I was stunned. It was 45mm and simple design unlike anything else around. But nowadays I gravitate towards smaller more discreet pieces.
