Yeah. It's just a gold blend with 24% Copper and 0.4% platinum (supposedly for scratch resistance).

I'm really surprised they're not taking more about the movements and trying to develop movements they way they're playing with materials.

I am also surprised how they put those 3 days movements instead of an 8 days manual (or auto?) for that kind of money..

I am also surprised how they put those 3 days movements instead of an 8 days manual (or auto?) for that kind of money..

I think most of the cost is to cover the 70 year warranty.

It looks like Pontreau was doing the rounds and in this interview he talked more about materials, specifically the fibratech and its applications and how/why Panerai decided to introduce it. Not so much about the technical specs but also interesting if you’re curious about the materials. KOT1917 @mystreio

Also he held up that 2 tone model and the two tone actually looked interesting and pretty distinctive. Still overpriced but looked nice.
