Umm I just had a thought.... My wrist is 6.75 to 7in in diameter... Would a Fiddy be too big?? :(

Edit: w'll I just measured my wrist and it's more like 6.0 tight but 6.5in for a comfortable fit. The top of my wrist is about 60cm across.

What are your thoughts??

Aww :( that sucks... The bronzo is 47 also isn't it.
Well I'll probably go for the 111 first, then maybe the 189 Arktos. I love compass bezel.
What size is the 6152/1??

Just wear it on your ankle. Enjoy! No need to worry!

Do you know if there will be any significant improvements to this next release or is it just a new "production" as opposed to new version?

This is on my next buy list.

Thanks.

If you have never tried on a 47mm I would suggest you do. Go to your local ad and try one on.

That's the only way you will know if it is too big for you. After all, some guys like over-sized watches as part of their "style".

Taze....just my opinion, but if I were you I'd stick with the Luminor or even the smaller Radiomirs.
The trend has been to wear oversize watches, but IMHO this is changing...as you see more huge crappy watches being sold at the local Stop-an-Rob, the styles will be trending towards more normal sizing. Would hate to see you stuck with a very nice rep you just don't wear.
I have 8" wrists....and even a 44mm Luminor is a large chunky watch. My first purchases were the 111, then a 45mm Radiomir because of the size. I would love to have a Fiddy, and may get one, but I hesitate because of the lug to lug length....even with my fat wrists :)
Just my opinion here....if you didn't care what anyone else thinks, you wouldn't be asking, is what I figure. I think I saw where you ordered 2 Luminor case watches....you'll know better when those arrive...you'll love them!

Thanks for the input, I haven't decided yet what to do. I agree its best to see he size of the luminor model.
I wish they had a case shape like the fiddy or the 6154.

I love the aesthetic of the 127. The dial design is so good looking on these things that it makes it a must-buy for me. I have 7" wrists but I think it will be wearable.

You are right on about the trends. Seeing so many cheap massive watches in the last year makes me cringe when I put on my 45mm Skyland Avenger. I feel like oversized watches are soon going to be a thing of the past. At least much less popular.

Look at trends in large aftermarket wheels. It will meet a similar fate.

If you like it, buy it. The low profile of the 127 will actually wear smaller than a 47mm of another model.

The 127 is a classic and I don't think it will ever lose its appeal. Do keep in mind that trends (and tastes) tend to be cyclical so while oversized watches may dip in popularity eventually they will become popular again.

Yes, the 375 is sweet looking too.

Do you know how PVD quality stands up over time? Does it scratch easily? Discolor?

Seeing a couple of pictures of the patina on PVD would be very interesting. Great if you could show us. Thanks!
