TWT has been a bit ill last message I got said when he felt better he would be on. That was a couple days ago.

New black leather strap with deployant

Hey all,
I just received my new 20mm strap, and took some photos for you.
It's not as thick as the original, so you see a bit more of the case from the side, but I don't mind the way that it looks.
It looks much better than the faux crocodile strap that can be spotted as a fake from even far away.

Got mine yesterday. Very nice quality.

The AR is not the best, but pretty good.
The strap is not that bad. I've worked it and softened it with leather conditioner. It's now easy to form and wears comfortable.

There's supposedly a Mark XVII bracelet in the works according to PT but it still has yet to be released. Keeps getting delayed by the factory and it was supposed to be out in August. Don't think there is a bracelet out there that can fit the XVII aside from gen or custom fitted from XVI.

I know its a cheapo but anyone else having problems with the movement? Worked great the first couple of days, gave it a full wind today but it seems to be stopping randomly whenever it feels like lol (on the desk, on the wrist, etc). Is the movement crap? I wonder if I can swap it to a 4813

The AR is not the best. The crystal reflects quite some light, but it has a blue hue like the gen. Since the AR doesn't make the watch justice I will get a custom AR for this one.

Is the triangle at 12 easily adjustable? It seems a somewhat common problem that its slightly tilted

This watch looks and feels GREAT. The strap, which I heard sucks, is really not that bad. My wife thinks it looks good and it's pretty comfortable. This bargain basement Mark XVII is my first IWC rep so I have nothing to compare it to but I think it's a no-brainer.
