I’ve read so much about the eBay insert compared to vrf noob arf and clean don’t see much of a diff they all have flaws if it’s not one thing it’s another

its leaps and bounds over the ARF dial but it’s still too... too... too not Rolex. Lol. It’s like it’s too green in some spots, not green enough in some others but at least I finally have a hulk that I can wear and only partially obsess over. Feels good on the wrist though. The Submariner really is the perfect watch.

Yes, the BP is the best yet but very hard to find. Good score. The previous owner of mine put ARF markers on the BP dial. I can’t attest to which markers are better but it looks great nonetheless.

You have arf hands right? Regardless of which ones are actually better, consistency is the key. You have arf hands, then you can't do better than arf markers imo.
I have a set of gen hands but I let someone talk me into not using them unless it's a gen dial. The fact of the matter is BP Lume is very close to gen. Right now I have arf hands on the BP dial and it makes me see I need to put the gen hands on. So that's going to happen very soon.
I mean we're talking subtle subtle shades of white being the difference.
Whoever swapped the markers must be a little nuts though as that's a LOT of work. But when done right, well worth it.
I'm also kicking myself because I found someone with a gen hulk bezel assembly last month but they were asking a hefty sum of money. I was negotiating with them and we were a few hundred off and then

$2,500 is the going price for a gen bezel/insert assembly and it’s been around that for a few years now. Even at that they go fast. I remember in 2013 or so I had a chance to buy a set for $700. Should have bought as many as I could. Gen dial will be more.

Hi. guys I'm building my second LV. Been two years since my last build.
But I'm really trying to figure out who makes the best dial in terms of SUNBURST, COLOR and TEXT. Our markers doesn't matter, because I'm getting installed the awesome ZZF hour markers.
What do you think? I'm hearing BP should be the best, but also hard to source.
