You can’t find the link for the one you bought on eBay?
From what I've seen, I always through the noob - color of the insert that is - is the closest green to gen. Also I like the recessed markings on the noob. I would have purchased one but it was a month wait and I knew I was going to change it anyway so I said “meh, might as well go with the ARF”. So I ordered it and now, the fucker has been sitting for a month anyway. I still like the idea of the ARF case, because, from what I gather it is easier to work with.
I will say, I’m really not happy with ARF on this watch. If I planned to wear this watch out of the box, I’d be pissed. It looks like a lasy attempt or like I had the new guy in the factory assembling my watch.
Also, one last point. When I first started thinking about a hulk build there was a thread where a guy pou together a hulk and had a thread along the entire process and he had an eBay insert that he was using. Right up until he found the gen insert.but it was the same situation I believe. Interesting to know.

Yeah it’s hit & miss with most reps. I’ve used ARF cases for all my Frankens as they take gen parts easily except the crystal gasket on one of mine. The v1 case has fat lugs but slimmer Than the new v2... they are even fatter!, shit crown tube hole there’s something not right there. It’s way too close to the edge of the top of the case so you can barely even countersink it to fit genuine crown tube. Uneven lugs and rehaut engravings uneven spacing so they don’t line up with the dial indices. I end up hand filing and refinishing them I guess it’s part of the hobby I find fun but can also be annoying at the same time especially expecting a good ootb lol. I found the insert to be one of the better ones but they all have their flaws

I used it on a djf v2 and it was really good. I sold the watch some time ago - but i would definitely use this insert again on a new build. This is the version with the Platinum colored numbers, not just flat white paint.

Got my Clean factory insert today along with my BP dial. After reading these most recent posts by mnkoshka I also ordered the vrf insert to compare. Can't wait to see it.
I actually haven't had much time to look at either. I look forward to scoping them out.

I was ready to install the cf insert until this post and a conversation with spongebob. I’d like to see for myself in person before stating which looks better. I just know what other people like although from experience, I know my eye goes to details that others might overlook.

I used to think the NAIL insert was a real sleeper pick but now I'm not so sure. It's really nice, especially for the money and in some light it looks really good. But others, it's pretty dark.
As for the others, there are some instances where the color of the cf insert looks really nice (outside in the shade) and others when the vrf looks best (inside lighting and sunlight).
I put, perspectives, and thoughts are appreciated.

Hazing you have all the aftermarket inserts but you don’t have gen to compare to correct? It’s going to be pretty hard to get the right color without a gen to compare them to
