Great watch. See if you can find the same model with a black date wheel.

Guys, I found one of these in my local seller, could you please help me check whether this is the same v6.5 being sold by TD's here? To me all looks similar other than the movement shot... Thanks in advance

Thats a great watch. Its not the hub 4100 v6.5 movement. I guess its a v5? Not sure there, but it still looks great.

Stealthy get a v6.5 from a TD not that one. Just got 2 more updated v6's myself and the AR is great on them plus the higher xstal vs the previous V6's

Noted Sam and Mike, thanks for confirming that it's not the v6.5

The price is quite cheap, around 330$ brand new.

But I think I'll pass and better order the newest version

Good decision because your watch, as above said, is not at all a V6 or V6 V2

ALE

Whatever say dealers, I remember V6.5 is not a correct name, because V6 is a maker not a version.
Therefore, to be consistent with our custom about names, the correct name of improved watch made by V6, would be V6 maker V2 version.
Otherwise in the next improvement we would have to nominate V7 and this is not at all possible, because there is already a V7 version and the name of the maker will disappear.
Just my opinion

Thanks for confirming Ale

Regarding the name, i think v6 mk.2 sounds better instead of v6 v2

=D

But looks good, maybe hublot should consider doing it in this modification :)

I got my HBB v6.5 (or new denomination v6 mk2 :) ) of which i post pictures in my last posts, it's truly amazing watch.... I have one another v6 and v1 but this new v6 is much better i found the strap more comfortable ( i've choose rubber strap) and like many others mentioned the height of the crystal and the clearer AR make this watch look so gen. I sold it because when it was still in transit from China i changed my mind and now i want to take it with numerals, numerals looks to me so 'hubloty' it's like trade mark of Hublot, i've sold all my non-numerical Hublots and think to replace them with numeral ones :)

Ok thanks ALE. I guess that makes this model a little more enticing but I do prefer the stock Black Magic II.

V6 movement is based in A 7750 with decorated circular bridges. I'm saying decorated not decoration.
A 7750 is almost exact to ETA Valjoux 7750.
Most likely your watchsmith can get a Swiss Valjoux 7750 but without decorated bridges and has to use the rep bridges to get the bridges similar to the gen HBB.

The bridges decorated is maybe the more different part beyween gen and rep.

Swiss A7750 is very expensive and swap is expensive too.
Do you think it is worth a swap ?
Better wait for the dead of the A7750, if it happens, and then change for a new A7750 or a Swiss. Up to you
