@TheDude,
I'm not going to take sides here (though it kinda sounds like I am) but I will give you my opinion based on my own perspective.
When I receive questions that are so "noob" or was easily answered with a tiny bit of reading it tells me that I'm only going to have problems with the customer. They will receive the watch and wonder why the automatic watch is not working after it sat for 4 days, etc. I've had countless perfect watches be mailed to me or to my supplier because the person thought it was broken and they just did not have a clue how it worked because they did not read.
But MY biggest issue is, TIME! I simply dont have time to answer "noob" questions which is why I hail myself as "Not the first choice for the Noobs!" I wont answer long winded, real complicated or real simple questions that are easily answered, or are already answered in my description. Again, it tells me "Trouble Ahead" and not that I am guessing at it, I've learned from this happening before,, and I'm done learning the hard way.
I just ignore the comment and there is never a transaction,,
Robert on the other hand,, he was making sure that there would never be a transaction,, which is exactly what he was hoping for. (good way to do it or bad way to do it, it's all about perspective).
Hope you can read my post objectively.
Greg
