A comment by By-Tor regarding a new member Amadeus got me thinking. By-Tor said he has that annoying song Amadeus running around in his head. What are some of the annoying songs you guys get into your head and can't get out. You friggin hate the song but can't stop singing it or thinking about it. Here are my all-time top two.

1) Hero (Enrique Iglesias) I can take away the de pain (oh no)

2) I Feel for You by Chaka Khan.

This should be a good time. I have a few more too.

...too many to list. Remember that goofy one.."I've got a brand new pair of roller skates you've got brand new key". How about "Midnite at the Oasis, send your camel to bed"...if those songs are in your head...you are flirting with insanity...

@crick all I have to do is think of the video for "Don't cha wish ya girlfriend was hot like me" and all is well in the world. The lead is smokin hot.

OK Stream of consciousness response:

-Those damn "Doodlebops" are scary on Disney!

-The song by the Pussycat dolls is the "dont you wish your girlfriend was hot as me" song

-Cranberries "Zombie" is actually not bad.

-The song I cannot stand that got stuck in my head one day-so I decided to torture others with it :) - was "Man in the Mirror" by Michael "Hey webster, where's my other glove?" Jackson

-Chaka Khan...chaka khan...chaka khan...chaka khan

-In addition to "Afternoon Delight" by the Starland Vocal Band--there were other scary 1972-76 era horrible crap songs:

"Billy Don't be a Hero" Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods
"The Night Chicago Died" Paper Lace
"Wild Fire" ?
" Una Paloma blanca" ?
"Beach Baby" ?

I can't stomach any hip hop rap except for a few (and I mean a few) exceptions--but pretty much all of that would count too.

Apart from the dumb bog-trotter slapper can't even pronounce the word Zombie. What is a Zah-hoom-buh anyway?

Sometimes you hear an annoying song on the radio and then it plays in your head for the whole day. That's why I rarely listen to the radio... most of the stuff they play there is utter crapola.

Now I'm listening to Genesis "Seconds Out" live album. No easy and catchy tunes here. ;) You know... the REAL Genesis... before Phil Collins turned it to the 80'S (s)hit factory.

Pugwash...Irish music has always been more about atmosphere then pronunciation.

Besides, maybe she was too busy raving instead of studying for her O levels :)

Also, let's not forget the former unofficial state song of New Jersey:

"It takes two" --a horrible rap song complete with whistles and god knows what--more old school in sound then the newer crap like "50 cent" or "NWA" or "wu tang clan"

Every guido wannabe in NJ and his "angelina" would be rockin out to this song on the dance floors. Oh it was popular in Queens, Staten Island, and Brooklyn too (see a trend here? :) ) but no where did it cling to life more tenaciously then Northern New Jersey!

"I wanna go right now....etc etc etc etc etc"

I've got a king crapola song that worms its way into my brian. I always hear it in the doctors office or at the grocery store. "Don't Know Much" starring the world famous Aaron Neville and Linda Ronstadt. Yuck. In fact everything by Aaron Neville sucks. Fifteen years ago I don't know if I would have said that to his face.

absolute worst song to get stuck in your head, now that I think of it, is that stupid "Pina Colada" song. The guy is barely signing a sentence at a time!

If you want to reset your brain to forget that song stucke in your head, I have a full proof method. ...... Just start whistling or humming the Andy Griffith Show theme song. It will replace whatever was stuck in your head. Now just get rid of it. d
