Best Navitimer replica?

Hey,

Where is, to your opinion, the best replica Breitling Navitimer to be found? I am looking for one with a black or blue dial and brown strap. However, it seems that Hont doesn't display any more Breitling watches on his website so therefore I'm asking here, for other well-known replica dealers.

I have mailed Hont about the question as well so he's no suggestion. I'm awaiting his reply.

Sorry, there is no best Navitimer Rep, we are all waiting on a new release, all have a lot of flaws, just read Andrews sticky post about Navitimers in the Beitling section or use the search function for more info

All depends. If you are stuck on a "true Navitimer", then you are not going to find anything close to a perfect rep. They are very nice however, and probably about as good as we'll ever see. There are other members of the Navitimer family that have been replicated quite nicely. Look at the Navitimer World, the Montbrilliant Datora, and especially the Montbrilliant Legend.

Yep, thats the one, although the pic you posted is of a gen. Any of the usual dealers will likely be able to get it for you, but I recommend D4M.

Well guru if you take a look at some of Hont's Navitimers GMT/World you can see that most of the things stated in Andrews review have been cleared up. It's been like a year or something since he made that review and some of the flaws have been pretty much cleared off. Of course there are still flaws but what rep doesnt have

Best Navitimer

It depends how much you can live with the flaws. I like mine and wear it often.

To sum up (without beeing Anal):

Slide rule not aligned: no one will ever notice, see how the number are really small !!
Sunken date week: biggest flaw but difficult to catch with the watch in your hands
Datefont: same above and you can also only wear it from 10th to 31th...

Do not hesitate if you like it, Ruby have nice ones, have it AR coted and you have the best one.

Thanks. A friend of mine just received a white one. I do not know if it is due to the backgroud color, but but without the AR it is not the same watch...

i will post a picture of mine that i have been thinking about selling this evening when i get home from work. it is blue tri compax layout with double ar coating from k2222 and a extra link in the bracelet for my big wrist. extra links are imposable to get for these. i even have a new gen blue breitling strap for it.

IMO the best navi rep is the old TT Navi with subs at 6-9-12. It's probably the best to start with, and can be improved easily with mods. Also great for a gen dial transplant. But even if you limit yourself to an AR job and DW swap you've got a pretty good winner. A few minor flaws (case back, size and colour of numbers on dial, silver small hands, etc) will remain but are mostly negligeable, and with the myriad of navi versions out there, only very few people would be able to pick it.

Been here done the same! Bought the 3-6-9 because I absolutely adore the watch, but I also read the guide here on the forum which helped. I bought a gen strap which is great, cost nearly as much as the rep. I then had the crystal AR'd by Chief and all I can say is wow! The watch is flawed, but I can live with it, still waiting for a more accurate version of course, finger's crossed!
