Hi All,
I'll be going to Shenzhen soon. Inside this forum, I came across alot of mentioning about Lowu Commercial City and Luo Hu Shopping Centre.
Can anyone please tell me if we are talking about the same place here or they are just different places.
Anyone who had been there, please advise me a few tips of where to go (name of the place and which level) to look for good reps.
I really hope I can find these good reps so that I can shae by putting up a posting when I'm back.
Thanks alot.
Taiji~~ Forget it about Luo Hu Shopping Centre (or commercial city, same place), since you are in ShenZhen, take the train to GuangZhou~~ it's i think like 2 hours of train ride? After that, ask for "West Train Station Watch Centre" haha .. then u'll be happy!!
Remember, ppl there would only show you the cheap quality stuff.. ignore all those, and ask them for the stuff under the table (probably hidden somewhere).. those are the good ones~
things to watch out for:
1. Real sapphire or not
2. Movement
3. Solid stainless steel or crappy plated steel
Advice: Take a photo, or a magazine with the watch you want. So that you'll have something to compare with~
If you want the top quanlity ones, like PAMS/omegas with 7750/ETA.. then u have to ask them to open up the back case for you to make sure if the movement's rite!
Bargain:
1. Always Ignore their initial price offer! (usually they'll type it on a calculator! Dont worry, they can all speak crappy english~ enouf for you to undersatnd)
2. Whatever their offer is, tell them the price you have in mind. (as low as possible!!)
3. When they dont agree. just walk away, they'll pull you back! If they do that, that means the price you offered is OKAY, so stick to that and dont raise a penny (they'll ask u to add a little. like 10usd and stuff)
4. IF they as u to add a bit.. okay.. add like one usd. haha

5. If they dont drag you back... probably ur price is too low.. but that's alright, there are like 200 people selling watches there! (sometimes they *pretend* they wont drag you back... but as u walk away far enough.. they'll run to you, so... becareful with that trick
as for the DVD and stuff.. it's actually 1usd for 2! or 5rmb for one. (Becareful tho if it's REAL DVD version, or some cheap videocam shot recorded DVD)
well.. there are lotta things to shop for in China.. i hope you'll have fun!
