Here's my last experience with indonesian custom.

Bought the watch from m2m for GBP 210 from UK.
Seller shipped it using royal airmail on 16 Nov. Package arrived in Jkt on 22 Nov. Found out from ems website that it was investigated by customs since 24 Nov. Sent email to them with Paypal receipt & my NPWP. After several email correspondences, they still asked me to come in person with proof of payment to Bea Cukai office at Lapangan Banteng.

Found time to go there on 6 Dec, showed them PP receipt on my handphone & they calculated taxes I needed to pay, it was Rp.850ribu. Tell them your NPWP if you have it, it lowers the tax you have to pay. Paid the tax & picked up the package right away. The whole process at customs took around 3 hours (incl. lunch break), not too bad.
The 850rb tax might seem high, but I got a very good deal on the watch, so it doesn't really bother me to pay.

I think customs don't really care if you're buying rep/ counterfeit watches, as long as you can show proof of payment & pay tax then it's all good

Considering exchange rates, I think I paid US$330 in total (watch + shipping + tax) for a watch that TDs are selling around $450. I'm happy with it :laugh:

Thanks for the info! Good to know that at least m2m sales can make it past customs. Just have to calculate the total cost vs buying from local dealer now.

Either that or the customs officers have finally started to chill down a bit.

Selama ini ga pernah ada masalah kalo pake hk post or registered mail, cuman agak lama aja bisa sampai 20 harian kalo ke bali. Ems yg biasanya paketnya di buka sama custom, tapi ga jd masalah jg. I don't know other ya, sharing pengalaman saya pribadi aja selama ini.

Yes its really shitty, the Finance Ministry is collecting $$$. Not only your average reps, but also industrial machineries and raw material get taxed like nobodys business. I miss Sg too

I just bought my first rep from Puretime and received QC pic yesterday. QC pic dikirim kurang lebih 10 hari setelah pembayaran. Sekarang gw lagi nunggu jamnya dikirim ke rumah. I hope everything will be fine.

​​​​Biasa kalo kita order di TD, jamnya bakal diundervalue biar lolos custom, jadi kita tinggal nunggu aja di rumah. Tapi kemarin ada temen di Reddit beli rep Rolex di Narika ketahan sama custom dan diminta bayar pajak 70 juta. Sama dia sih ga diurus dan dapet full refund dari TD. Hoki-hokian aja sih sebenernya.

Ask your TD or you can create your own invoice.
