Thanks yeah it looks beautiful and the markers look good + the AP logo is straight it looks perfect.

Not yet, looking forward to it. I've had black and blue, ruthenium dial would be my next choice.

I haven’t tried gray dial.

I am not sure I like the lack of contrast between the gray dial and steel/gray bezel and case....but as a Royal Oak fan, I should really try the gray to see if it works for me in real life.

I think that if JF updated the grey dial it would be similar to the blue dial where its dull and non-metallic. IMO it would contrast nicely with the polished edges.

Oh and after seeing Legend's 15500 :yes:

JF will update the 15400 soon, better case and better bracelet. Better crown, deep and correct AP logo on the crown.

The clasp AP logo will have same shape and deep as genuine clasp, the inner clasp font will have same hight and brushed as genuine.

Nearly 5 months on and no updates to case, crown, bracelet or clasp

There doesn't seem much love for the grey dial, and I think you've hit the nail on the head the whole front of the watch looks kinda flat and dull, I like grey dials but I can't get excited about the grey oak

is there any 15400 out there which has the right case thickness? Seems like they improve all these trivial details and ignore the characteristics that make it blatantly fake

Not without modding. The new dial makes a bigger difference than the 1mm extra thickness IMO, but everyone has their own opinion.
