New Noob AP reps after Feb 2016

To all AP fans, apparently, Noob will be launching gradually their new AP reps after the CNY. The article seems to say it is a 3126 clone (but it could also means decorated 3126).
So, if you can wait, then wait and see till after the 1st 2 weeks of Feb.
The OP (a taiwanese dealer with apparently links with the chinese factories) even mentioned that the Noob prices will be slightly cheaper than the JF ones by a few thousands taiwanese dollars (1000 taiwanese dollars = 30usd)

Actually, I posted an earlier translation dated back to Aug 2015. Noob has apparently been, since the big price reduction last June, working on a new movement. It is possibly based on a miyota movement with additional mods. End results intended are
- thinner case
- correct DW position
- and also solve the second @12 issues once and for all.

Now, I will sidetrack a bit. Actually the post started out by the OP saying that his friend has frankened a perfect Cartier Santos 100 XL (with gen cartier santos movement). And that is the watch he put on sales on chrono24!!!
In addition, both of them even went to the extend of bringing a smiliar/same franken to a casino in Macau to try to pawn it off!!!
Now, this could be perceived as some marketing rants about how good their reps are but it is also pretty scary if one is used to buying gens from the web.

It's not a new movement, my buddy translated it and it's plates only. What we don't know is if they are going to make pieces like Schumi, Trulli, etc with correct dials and better crystals. Only time will tell...

The new Noob Rolex/AP releases should give us an idea of their new strategy. Although far from perfect itself, JF has trounced Noob in both those sectors. It is hard for me to filter out the marketing hype from Angus and the Chinese rep sites. But if you are expecting the holy grail of AP ROO reps, namely, a clone 3120 ("with 40 jewels and 280 components"), you will probably be disappointed. Clearly, Noob has to do something besides continue with their poorly finished ROOs from the past. A $60-100 price competition with JF is not going to convince many high-end rep collectors to buy Noob. It would signal merely a failure of strategy for Noob IMO, and probably the beginning of the end for Noob.

Barely bought 3 AP's in the last year .... versus about 20 the year before . No prospect of prising any money out of my wallet unless there's some real good reasons.......
So Noob has it's work cut out ... I'm sure most are interested in the quality of the release than this possible $100 saving

1. Thinner case..
2 . Correct date wheel position.
3. Some good model updates such as Schumi and GP with correct dial colours

Exactly. Noob's movement plate offerings have been disappointing. JF has been doing a great job, but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

From my understanding Noob AP has always been inferior as compared to JF AP. So why the excitement here?
