Its water proof by design! put some silicone grease on the tube screw it down, silicone grease the case back screw it down with the proper tool you can get on ebay and go for a swim. Or you can send it to VAC and he will pressure test it for you to 3 atmospheres that's about sixty feet. 1 atmosphere is on land at sea level.

Thanks Thrasher - I built a pressure tester here at home with a water filter housing (link around here somewhere)... I think it goes to 4ATM. I just haven't had time or motivation to clear off my workbench and do some testing. I'm sure it is waterproof. TC does a great job and I'm sure it'll pass.

I never should of said that, because TC said it, still I wont take mine in the pool. I guess I should at least get the LN tested then I could swim with it.

Might not mean anything but i have a tclv type 2 i think it was called and have swam, dived(about 20ft) and did numerous other water activities with it on my wrist and have never had an issue. I did ask tc about waterproofing when i bought it and he said they are waterproof by design, hard to argue that as the builds are quite good. My tcym is on the way and im sure will live up to its standards.

I also have the TC LV type 2 and I actually had the watch pressure tested in a water chamber and it held up to 10 ATM without problems at all. His watches are amazing!

Have a problem with my clasp.
The small crown caught on something and came off, also detaching one side of the small oblong of metal it was attached to bending it up.
I will try to super glue it back but does anyone have any suggestions where I might get a replacement correct YM clasp please?

That sucks Bro.
The only place youre gonna find a decent clasp like the is from TC, unless someone has a spare tucked a way.

I searched high and low for one......

Rafflestime has a semidecent clasp but the coronet on it looks like godzillas footprint... not cool IMO

Or you can replace your clasp with a newer styled milled clasp.

Thanks. Yep that looks really good. Would be happy with that. Where would I get one of those please, I assume it's a rep?
Super glue has worked for now though. At least I can carry on wearing it.

Just thought I would post a couple of comparison pictures
The JF blue is the later 116622 and has a gen crystal and date wheel and the date / mag is a lot smaller than the stock 16622 platinum TC.
Seems to me the TC is nicer being larger but I don't know how a proper gen looks. Are they both correct?
