Looks like there ain't any watch service that's reliable in singapore for those in need.. This is a real trouble for us who are staying in singapore without a proper watch smith to help us out?

Does not seem like there is anyone to be honest. I'm doing a trip up to Vietnam soon and have found a member here who is going to introduce me to a proper rep-friendly watch smith up there. Both cheap and good!

So if you're planning any holidays around the SEA region, locating a Vietnamese,, Malaysian, Thai or Indo based rep-friendly watchsmith could be the way to go!

There're WS in Singapore that services reps but don't expect on the spot service. That's abit too much to ask for. You expect them to fix your reps in the shop that sells or repairs Gens?

Yup true, you mind sharing some of it? Since you seem to have some experience with them at some point? It may help people who are in singapore and what kind of service do they offer for what price?

Any update info on this? Does K2 repair rep?? I am too looking for help. My tc sub 2824 is feeling funny all of a sudden, does not hold power reserve when worn on and giving a quick shake doesn't jump start the movement. Crown slip when changing time...

Just a reminder to the new comers. DON'T send your watch to unverified/inexperienced 'watch-smiths'. Most of them don't even know how to service a 6497 moreover a modded 7750 movement.

+1

Many of the "watch smith" are just people who played around with some watches and happen to fix some using the wrong method. They do not know how to CORRECTLY service/repair watches.
