Maybe! But I'm not one of them. I own Gens too! I like wearing the rep because I feel 'safer' like I'm wearing a backup.
May be good for someone who wants to experience modding on a cheaper reps before trying on their expensive ones.

Exactly. This is my first purchase of a replica watch. I got what I expected. I think it's the best on ali you can get at this price range.

How much are these fountain pens and can you share the name of the seller? How do they compare to a gen Cross or other low priced gen? Do they leak or get clogged up? I had 2 fountain pens about 15 years ago that I had to stop using because they worked like sh#t. Even with new cartridges they would get clogged. One of them was a relatively nice Cross. That being said, one of my nicest writing ballpoint pens is my gold and titanium Cross. It freaking writes like butter.

I am a fountain pen nut so I can tell you prettying anything you need to know about fp's. First of all you need to do periodic cleaning and maintenance of them. Before switching colours you need to take the pen apart and clean it all out thoroughly. Any good fp should not leak even those cheap made in China ones.
You probably did not clean it out or you left the pen unused for several months and the ink dried up in the pen.

Thanks for the info. You are probably right on both counts. I don't remember cleaning them and I know the ink dried in the nib because that is what frustrated me so much. There was plenty of ink in the cartridge though. I guess I just thought that it would keep itself wet and usable with the cap on and ink in the cartridge.
So if you aren't going to use it for awhile are you supposed to remove the ink cartridge and clean it out? Can you store and reuse partially used ink cartridges?
I got myself some Marina Militare and other Parnis stuff, which were pretty good, but of course without engravings. But the cases have really good quality.
Electronic stuff I bought from there ( e cigarette´s mostly) was always good and a good value for the money.
I even have a cheap Montblanc rollerball from there, which works good, but has not the best quality.
