Yes the holes are bigger. I think it was slaughterer62 who talked about sanding/polishing the existing screws flat. Even that would give a better finish (in my opinion), instead of the slightly curved edges.

i look close at the rep screw in ur picture. the finish is flat polished. the problem is the holes too big so when you look the shadow make it like curve effect. perhaps use a gasket to lift the screw head higher so it level top bezel

Nice write up! Did you test if the rep bracelet fits? It did on mine which meant I don't have to scratch my gen bracelet

look like the holes for the bezel screws is too large so even if you remake the bezel screws it will look badly fit. if you make the screws large to fit the cut out then its easy to tell the screws are bigger than gen

These flaws are not dealbreakers imo, especially on the wrist these are very minor flaws

Ive taken Edges advice and replaced the Gen Strap with the Miyota REP Bracelet.... Does that make my watch a Franken build now . After wearing the original bracelet for a while you can definitely feel a roughness to the REP bracelet in comparison, but look and fit are 99% there...... I hope I don't get called out now!!!

^^ Put the Rep bracelet on a baby oil for a couple of days, then wash it with warm water and detersive soap. And you won't feel that roughness

My apologies if this has already been addressed, but I'm confused as to the current available selections of the 15400. I know that there are at least two movements to choose from; the Miyota and the 2824. I was all set to go with the Miyota, but Toro informed me that there are 4 different factories producing with the Miyota movement. So which one to go with? Has a comparison been posted of the 4 different factories?

Could you please also comment how the AR is on the gen? Is it strong or barely visible? On the rep it looks like it's almost non-existent.
