Simple Truth: There are no guarantees in this life. Roll the dice, Take your chances....and wear a cup.

Ahhh... word.

I crossed to Macau this weekend and played. On a baccarat player's streak, I bet an equivalent of $200 and won; doubled the money to $400 and won again (5th player streak); doubled it again to $800 bet and continue to win (now $1800 winnings, 6th player streak); increased to $1000 bet and won on a natural 8 (now $2,800 winnings, 7th player streak). Then increased betting to $2000 with $300 side bets. All LOST on a super 6 banker! Left with only $500 for our drinks.

Ahh.. no guarantees in life...

There is something strange here and not just your questions. I'm not yet sure what the agenda is but it looks like you wish to continue an issue/feud here when it belongs at RG.
80% of your posts here are about this guy, enough already.

If you don't like the way it works here I suggest you stay away.

I am asking questions to prevent and protect myself from being scammed from buyers like Mr. Peapods2. I don't want to be scammed for an expensive lesson.

:wyliehelp:

It seems that the old pros on RWI can easily be scammed based what happened here recently:

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/expensive-lesson-for-154163

Perhaps, but you're asking the same question over and over even though your question has been completely answered. That tells me that you're looking for information that you don't want to directly ask about.

What information might that be exactly? Asking "how do I avoid being scammed?" gets similar answers to the question "how do I scam someone?" I get the feeling that's the direction you want this thread to go in.

When buying or selling, it is your job to research the watch and the other party. A long time "experienced" member can be either a scammer or get scammed. There are no guarantee in life.

Do your research and see what the forum does to scammers.

RWI is not Costco. You can't return your beat up watch after 8 years and cakes and cakes of wrist cheese between the links.

What is the protocol on RWI for a buyer having buyer’s remorse? For example a RWI member buys a watch, pays for the watch with Paypal goods and services, and than has a case of massive buyer’s remorse and demands the seller of the watch to refund him back his money as soon as possible.

Is this acceptable practice on RWI for a buyer to demand a refund from a seller after they have buyer’s remorse?

My buddy sent me the below link from another rep web site in which the above occurred:

http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=212368&highlight=gtanak

If it happened to me, I would be concerned if I did not refund the payment back to the buyer who had buyer’s remorse; they would file a complaint against me on Paypal for selling counterfeit goods resulting in my Paypal account being shut down.

:wyliehelp::thinking:

Are you implying the buyer who had buyer's remorse on the other rep web site should have honoured his commitment to buy the watch after he demanded a refund?

:cheers::cheers:

A buyer does not need permission from a mod to file a Paypal dispute.; as all they have to do is file a Paypal dispute on behalf of themselves.

My concern is how does one deal with a buyer who has buyer's remorse who demands a refund after they pay before the watch is shipped and or after the buyer receives the watch.

I agree with you Buyer's Remorse is the problem of the new owner.

I would contact the RWI staff before I ever file a PP dispute.

It appears to me Mr. Peapods had a massive case of buyer's remorse.

Based on what Mr. Peapods posted in his response on why he had "Buyer's Remorse"; he said he has purchased over $5,000 of rep watches the past year and it appears to me he a very experienced buyer and seller.

If the buyer such as Peapods2 pays for the watch and has " Buyers Remorse" and than demands a refund; what to you tell buyers like Peapods2?

Do you send them an email or PM telling them "Tough shit!"

Peapods2 claims he bought $2,500 of rep watches the past 6 months. He appears to be a high roller with a big wallet who is a very experienced buyer if he can dish out $2,500 for rep watches in only 6 months.

How does one "prevent" themselves from selling a watch to a buyer like Peapods2 to avoid a similar situation with another buyer like Peapods2?

My heart goes out to the seller who had to deal with Peapods2.

Is their a sticky on RWI to help sellers and buyers to inform them not to sell or buy from members like Peapods2?

:wyliehelp:

It seems that Peapods2 was removed from the RG website.

Check out the below web link:

http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=212566&p=2292367#post-2292367

What does "removed" mean?

Was it because he posted the name, PP address, and email address for the buyer he stiffed because Peapods2 had a massive case of "Buyers Remorse"?

Does this mean the buyer who has "Buyers Remorse" responsible to pay for the PP fees associated with the refund?

Is Peapods2 a member on RWI? If yes, it would sure be nice he could explain his side of the story why he stiffed the seller on the other rep board and explain why he posted the seller's email address, name, and PP address.

Is it protocol on RWI to post the email address, name, and PP address of somebody you buy a watch from when you want a refund?

:wyliehelp:

I don't have an axe to grind with anyone here. I am trying to get a better understanding for what is the protocol to buy and sell a watch as I have heard there are many scammers on rep web sites. Before I take the leap of faith to buy or sell a watch, I want to make sure I won't get scammed and have somebody post my email address and PP address. I will do my best to be a gracious guest on RWI.

I apologize if I am asking too many questions about how not to be scammed by somebody who has "Buyers Remorse. I am just concerned that the buyer of my watch will use my PP account address for fraudulent activities when they demand a refund and I tell them no or claim I was selling them a counterfeit item resulting in my PP account being shut down.

:wyliehelp:

After reading what happened to this seller:

http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/changes-in-payment-156288p6

I am very concerned about somebody using PP to pay me when I sell my watch on RWI. Hence why I am asking questions about a buyer who has "Buyers Remorse".

:wyliehelp:

It is better to be safe than sorry with dealing with buyers like Mr. Peapods who have "Buyers Remorse".

What happens if the buyer pays me via PP than has "Buyers Remorse" and demands a refund and I am tell them no way in HELL and ship the watch to them and they in turn file a PP dispute against me. PP shuts down my account and sends the buyer a refund. Am I shit out of luck with regard to what happens as the buyer gets my watch for free.

I have sold over 500 items on Ebay and received a positive feedback for every item I sold on Ebay. I have no fear of selling and buying on ebusiness web sites in which the seller or buyer face recourse for not honoring their commitment.

I asked the questions about the buyer Peapods2 who had massive "Buyers Remorse" with the intention on how to deal with a potential buyer like Peapods2 and to find out how RWI would handle a similar situation if it occurred here.

Help me out, what is "CB"?

:wyliehelp:

Thanks.

It seems based on what everyone is saying about Mr. Peapods2 he has caused problems here in the past.

I am asking questions to prevent and protect myself from being scammed from buyers like Mr. Peapods2. I don't want to be scammed for an expensive lesson.

Hahahahaha,

My nom de plume is NOT Peapods2

I am enjoying dinner at my favorite Soul Food Restaurant before I go to my Bible class this evening at my church.

I ordered the following for dinner:

  • Split Pea Soup

  • Green Peas with Bacon Bits and Garlic

  • Mashed Potatoes

  • Chitlins

  • Collared Greens

  • Fried Chicken

  • Watermelon

  • Orange Pop (soda for you folks who listen to and worship the false idols on the AM radio talk show's)

Give praise and thanks to the Good Lord.

May God Bless You and Your Family.

We are honoured to have a man of your profound faith to be amongst us.

May God and Christ save your soul from thick plots and your sins.

^^^ are you implying that we suspect you of wrongdoing because you are black?

If so, you got it wrong. Everyone knows black people drink grape soda, not orange soda.

:wideeyed:

Well, now this clarifies why a 2 year old member with low post count suddenly shows up and starts posting odd questions about scams, buyer's remorse and so on, while showing deep knowledge of every recent post on the matter..

Assuming you read the thread you linked in your replies and have read something else in the last two years you should know better that there's no such thing as buyer's remorse in this kind of transaction, except for the good will of the seller.
:bsmeter:

Anyway don't bother me, I didn't mean to offend you or ruin your digestion, surely not after that 7 dishes dinner.
I'm a sinner, but I'm not that bad :hehehe:
