Finally hope for a proper Moonwatch movement?!

I guess it depends on the watch. If it is one of the Snoopy moon watches like, say, the 50th anniversary Silver Snoopy award watch that sells for $15-20K on the secondary market or the “failure is not an option” watch that is $40K, an $800 rep I can actually get while I sit on the waitlist for a gen may make sense, since the crazy secondary market prices are just … crazy.

Plus, it is a big assumption that the cost will be that high. Omegas with an 8500/8900 clone movement are not that expensive, and neither are Pam’s with a P900 clone movement. Both of those are more like $400 (maybe close to $500).

Lemania clone can only handle older Moonwatch. New coaxial ones are totally not that viable for this movement.

You need to compare to similar clone chronograph. 3 hander watch is a magnitude less complex than chrono. Apsf flyback is 1k. Rolex 4130/4131 started out at 800+ before heavy competition and advancement.

The biggest issue currently is the chrono sub dial placements on the speedy do not match any existing mechanical movements available to the factories. The older movement has them in the same place as the newer movement. There's no reason they couldn't do the newer editions with the older movement.
