Crown is meant to be small but from that angle i can't tell properly, shouldn't the hands be outlined in black and is the date centered in the mag?

Well guys. No one has really come out and said that this watch is a bad rep. Truth is, this is a pic of a gen. I did order one from a trusted dealer and will def post some pics when I receive it. Can't wait. Should be mid of next week. This is one of my all time favorites.

Well intentioned people responded with suggestions, qualified with question marks.

Notice how I came out with the reveal. This was in no way to poke fun at anyone's opinions. It's just sometimes I read threads on here and members over analyze reps. We all know they're reps. We could pout about why our reps are imperfect when someone points out the flaws. Most of us love watches and purchase these reps because we like the look of the orginals and don't want to spend the $.
I enjoy coming on this forum becasue we all share the same passion for watches period. I think we forget that sometimes. Quit whining.
"Pros" ??? Looks to me those that posted comments seem to be relatively new to the Forums.....guess we all have our different opinions of what actually makes a "pro" a "pro".:thinking:

You said "spot the flaws", which implied there are flaws. All the responses I saw were questioning IF one thing or another was a flaw. There were no definitive statements such as " this is too small", or "it has a horrible...".
And as previously stated, none of the real experienced WIS got a chance to respond.
So I don't feel like anything was proven here, or that we as a group were shown to be morons, or anything else.

I remember a thread once, where the subject was a pic of 3 Breitling B01, where people were asked to spot the 1 rep of 3 in the pic. Everybody gave their suggestions and the debate was long and great. It all ended up with thread starter telling everyone that all 3 was gens. The idea was to show how much we go in to even the smallest detail and i think that was the idea of this thread too, so i don't get why people get so upset about it. It just shows how good a rep can be and still being called out because people are so focused on even the smallest detail, which this forum is pretty much all about.
Thank you Seifert. I don't mind when the so called pros point out the flaws in a certain context. I find it rude when they do so when not asked, and the new owner just wants to show off his fellow forum comrades his new purchase that he/she is excited about.
To me, the only pros are the people that work at an AD or work on rolex for a living. You could even be considered a pro if you own the gen version of what you are commenting on.
I own a few gens and never go on here pointing out the flaws of someone's new purchase. And I don't even consider myself a pro.
It kinda pissed me off when I started getting all this negative energy. I enjoy coming on this forum because you guys understand my passion for watches. My wife thinks I have a sickness and need help with my fascination with watches. Who else am I going to share my new purchases with? :snort:
