There go the PROs again .......... Guys lighten up, its not that serious ....its funny how serious you guys take it tho LOL

A). I'm not a Pro by any definition. I know little to nothing about watches.
B). Not upset in the least. Just pointing out to those reveling in the failure of the "experts" to show their expertise that nothing was proven by this thread.
C). Rude.

Again - i think most people point out flaws with good intent.
If you read the spirit of most analyses. (Which require time & effort)
It's hardly done in a heckling manner.

Anyway, the watch that you're likely to receive.
Will look very much like the gen pictured.

Except the GMT hand will be at the bottom of the handstack
Not 3rd from the top.
If I'm not mistaken that is a functionality issue.
With that arrangement being better for the rep movement.

Otherwise, it's a beauty of a watch.
Enjoy yours, i know i do mine. :)

Is this a correct hand stack? Found this pic on another gen watch forum. It is supposedly a gen. In the pic, it looks like the gmt hand is on the bottom. From top to bottom, what is the correct order for the hands?

The watch that I will be getting is in this order. (from top to dial) second, minute, hour, and then gmt.

Just looked at the pic again. It looks like it's above the hour hand. So is it suppose to be top to dial in this order. second, minute, gmt, then hour?

An interesting thread - The harder you look at anything the more you see the flaws. My first rep. was a Rolex of some sort bought circa twenty five years ago - In my eyes it was horrible (almost certainly was to everyone else too - Pro or no Pro). I continually found fault with it and there were plenty to find. Finally bought myself a new gen Sub (for £712.00) and I couldn't get out of he habit for ages of analysing it and finding as many faults as on my old rep. Kept having to repeat to myself - It's a gen therefore that's how it's supposed to be! I've recently returned to reps and they really have come on in leaps and bounds! - Just bought one of Lay's $88.00 DSSDs. It looks like the gen when put next to my old Sub. Seems to me that with Rolex - there are so many variations on a similar theme - there can't be many folks who can really and truly know all the variations. I didn't see anyone fall flat on their face with this thread - People were led to believe it was a rep and invited to comment - quite frankly the comments were restrained, clearly people struggled to find any fault and the standard cyclops thing was trotted out only (if I understand correctly) because in a rep it is incredibly rare to achieve accuracy. I expect the next responses would have been - which dealer supplied and how much - I want one now!!!
